Chereads / THE LYCAN'S SOUL LOVE / Chapter 14 - Taking her back

Chapter 14 - Taking her back

The feverish Alpha paraded towards Safia, he was soo irritated because she looked stunned and that was a sensation which halted his heart.

Suspicion someone reached out to her and hauled her closer to his embrace, Safia attempted to nudge him back, struggling to get off him. But Austin simply clasped her head onto his broad chest.

The throbbing sensation from their proximity made Safia comprehend Austin's presence and his soothing voice transited to her ears.

" It's me ,,,Austin". He said, nuzzle her hair lovingly. " Don't be afraid".

He said and Safia promptly unlocked her eyes and bucked up at him as gashes began flooding under her eyes. She yearned to tell him all that had occurred but she couldn't find the right way to say it, she only gripped Austin tightly as a kid who had see her mother after years. Austin ratified in relief and made her cry her eyes out in his suit

She resisted the struggling after perceiving safety that Austin's caress offered her and moreover it won't be possible for her to shove him away as well anyway. Not, this time when Austin restricted to conceal her in his arms.

When Kash and Lan caught up with him, Austin had been strutting like that trying every

way conceivable to calm Safia.

Only after a few minutes enacted and Safia had mellowed out. Austin let her off, resting his arms on her small curved waist to keep her close.

" What happened!". He snarled and Safia startled.

Frustrated, Austin closed his eyes to calm himself and supposed that, lashing out infront of Safia wouldn't be a good idea, so he mind linked Lan to question Marvel about what had happened.

" Let go back,,, please and I promise to explain everything to you". He said as gently as he could while underneath the raging flames inside him.

That's when he saw Safia's barefoot. Without contemplating his surroundings, he lifted her in his sturdy arms and marched back towards the house.

" Alpha,,,". Lan crossed his path before Austin could enter the entrance of the house. Austin mind linked him to keep anything he had in his skull, they will converse about it overdue for all that he care right then was Safia's Safety.

Finally, Austin reached his room, leaving dozens of humans and the supernatural who were still gawking in awe behind him. They were shocked to see their cold boss who never even look at a girl for once, now carrying a girl in his arms was actually a shock to them.

Austin Kicked the door closed and made his way straight to the latrine. Safia still declined to raise her face from his neck, actually her gesture pleased him.

That way, he knew at least Safia wasn't too afraid and he could provide comfort for her.

Austin gently placed Safia on the edge of the jacuzzi, he was about to stand, but her grip on his neck tightened preventing him from moving away.

"We need to clean your feet". He whispered into her ear and waited for Safia to loosen her grip. When it didn't happen, Austin gave her a reassuring hug. " I will be here anytime". A tear streamed down her rosy cheeks when she heard Austin talked to her so tenderly. It had been so long since someone actually talked to her nicely and treasured her like that, not as a delusive madwoman who talked nonsense about illusory creatures. When she tell people what she see, they don't believe her and took her to be a mad girl.

Slowly she discharged Austin's neck, kept her head down while staring at her toes. She felt bad for treating Austin bad at first. She didn't know a day like that will actually come where Austin will actually care and treasure her like  that.

She never thought Austin was such a kind man. All her words were locked up in her mind as she actually couldn't find the best way of expressing it.

Subtly, she could feel Austin movement around her and as he came back in her sight, he was kneeling down infront of her folding his sleeve and gently washing the dirt from her feet with a bidet shower.

Safia moved away and pulled back her feet from Austin's grasp. She felt uncomfortable looking at him washing her feet.

He didn't need to do that,,,does he,,?".  But

Austin wanted to help her in all his best way. He grabbed her ankle and stop her from moving her feet and solemnly washed them.

Safia felt the sting of pain when the water cascaded her feet, apparently she hurt herself when she ran away barefoot.

After he had washed clean her feet, he took a cream and applied it on both of her legs.

" Don't move, just wait here for awhile". He said as he went to the vanity and washed his hands before he returned to where Safia was waiting. .

"so tell me what information do you have for me".  Drake said as he whirled himself dashingly towards Diego who had lessened his head out of fear that his boss could go mad at any point in time.  He stood nervously staring at the floor.

" Can't you speak!" Drake shrieked and he stumbled back before raising his head

" I..I'm sorry to say this, but Mr.Moon is dead".  Deigo said as he could feel his blood runs sharply through his brain.

Mr.moon was literally one of Drake's members.  He was an Alpha in the western coven pack in Drakon's territory.  He only opened that company to trap Safia in other to get her killed.

Years ago, there was a prognosis about a girl who will be born with a vulnerable spirit but will mature with the greatest soul. Her soul could put an end to a lot of tribulation and whoever get her soul equally be like the moon goddess. But this girl's soul was being insulate by a lycan's love soul.

There was a certain lycan whose love had been taken to shield her soul from all the dark realms till she grows up.

Safia happened to be that girl while Austin also happened to be that one lycan who was protecting her soul with his love soul.

The most strongest, powerful and the greatest lycan in the whole realms including the dark realms as whole.

Though Austin love soul was safeguarding Safia's soul, they were not meant to be together for only her soul could break his curse and also put an end to all that was going on in the realms and even the human world.

Not many people were fortunate to know about that prophecy. It was only Austin's parents and his uncles whom Drakon happened to be there when they were discussing about that.

On that very day , when Drakon learned of it, he intended on killing Austin. Thus, there will be no soul shielding her soul and that will be easy to get her if that happened, it but seems like their plans turned out.

Austin's love soul was a calm and a secret keeping soul. It was able to hide Safia's weak soul  till it grew greater.  He himself never got the chance to no about why he never loved anyone no matter how much the person love him. He never no his love side was protecting someone he wasn't supposed to fell in love with.

Now, he had been banished down to the world and was also so fortunate to dumped right into his love soul. Not creature were able to even sense Safia's greatest soul no matter how powerful there were.

But almost half of Drakon's Alphas knew about that and was now hunting for it and that was why Mr.moon ended up being killed overnight.

" Don't tell me that nonsense!!..how could he be dead!?". Drake stood up from his chair as he stomped his hands firmly on the table and clenched his fist angrily.

Flames of fire were boiling up in his eyes as his long sharp canines started developing suddenly from the edges of his teeth. His inner wolf was at the surface, nearly to explode. His grunt grew heavily to the extent that, it blew away all the papers on the table. Scattered around the room was the flying papers.  Deigo instantly arranged them with his one finger. As he raised his index finger, all the papers frozen in the air and he directed then into the cabinet behind him then placed his hand at his back while trying to avoid contact with those flames two eyes which was right in front of him.

Drake calming came down then sat down quickly in his chair when a dumped was heard on the door.  He signalled Deigo to fetch whoever was there but the door suddenly burst open exposing a well different man from all others. He was handsome, not perhaps in the conventional sense, but he had that appearance which could make him stand out in the crowd.

He was fair, almost pale white. His unfathomable, brimming green eyes contrasted exceptionally with his light toned face. His hair was like a massive grey bush surrounding by those two wide, green eyes. Freckles faintly dotted his cheeks, but they were only visible in the sunshine. His long, lanky body and plenty hair made him look a bit like a big red lollipop—which was only heightened by his tendency to blush often. He walked inside with a broad smirked on his lips.
