Despite the incredible speed of the bird, he dodged it easily. However the next thing he knew was that Austin hard wrapped his slender fingers on his neck.
" Roger". Austin called him by his name.
"Don't you even dare, go close to her". Austin's voice was deep and deadly calm, but it was full of threats and warning.
Ignoring being threatened and with the fact that Austin was squeezing his neck in tight grip, a taunting smile graced his lips.
"It is natural for a moth to approach fire". He said with such mocking tone before Austin strangled him. His eyes rolled back in its socket before his body burst into ashes. In fact all the lycans in the room were holding their breath when the identity of the man was revealed in the open.
ROGER, The prince from hell, the 10 deadly sins.
Among the crowd, Kash couldn't help but whispered to Lan who was standing right beside him on his left hand side.
"Is he dead?".
"No". Lan shook his head and gestured the warriors to clean up the mess.
"He is not even alive. I mean he is not even a living creature". Lan said.
The mystical bird flew above Austin hand and disappeared like a smoke. While the owner of it was looking at the waredrobe where safia was staying with troubled expression. His eyebrows locked together. When he felt the movement behind him departed and everyone's presence had gone, Austin reached out the handle of the wardrobe and open it slowly he didn't want to scare Safia than she already was.
Inside Sofia curled her body. She hugged her legs tightly and buried her head between her knees. She shivered in fear and this made the furrowed between Austin's brows deeper.
"Safia...". He called her softly and reached out his hand to touch her. However when Austin caressed her head, Safia jerked away.
A minute ago she looked happy to see him in his lycan form and that made him happy too. Then he was ecstatic to know Safia wasn't afraid of him. She even touched him and smiled at him.
Everything was lively at that moment even though it was only a slight change, she was starting to warm up with him. Thus, those filthy creatures had ruied their precious moments.

[We leave here tonight]
Austin didn't wait for his beta to answer before he cut the link. He had the most important thing to do right then.
Gritted his teeth, he reached out his hands grabbed her body and put Safia into his arms then hugged her tightly but not too tight to hurt her. As expected Safia struggled to get free from him, her arms were failing helplessly as she tried to kick him. her breathing escalated as she was panicking. However, Austin still kept hugging her while caressing her back in soothing motion.
"Don't worry is me..." He whispered into he ears.
" It is fine now..no one can hurt you..l am here". He kept repeating those words over and ovet again until Safia's attempts to hit him ceased down and she was just trembling in his arms.
"It's alright..". He chanted the words while rocking hair back and forth as if he was soothing a baby to sleep.
Eventually she calm down because of the familiar feeling surrounded her that sparked an erupted in all over her body, had a strong effect than any sedatives that had ever been injected into her whenever she lost her sanity like those years ago.
After some minutes had passed in coaxing and whispering, finally all that was left from Safia was sniffle and choke breathing. On the other hand Austin still didn't let her got out of his arms until he was fully sure and could sense that she was totally fun. Safia raised her head and peered at Austin through her wet lashes. Austin couldn't help but kissed away her tears.
You are safe, my love...uh.. sorry.. I mean Safia". Another unexpected act of him. It wasn't his fault anyway, he got hurt to see her like that.
"Do you trust me..?". Safia stared into Austin's eyes and it's took his breath away. He wanted to stared at her like forever. Unexpectedly, Safia wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face on the curve of his neck, she was nodding faintly.
"Thanks for trusting me...can we go now?". Austin smoothed her disheveled hair and picked her up by holding her tight while Safia latched on to him as if she was a giant koala.
Safia didn't know where Austin was taking her this time, the only thing she knew was that, that stranger made her feel safe and as strange as it sound she trusted him too. However once again she nodded.
Austin snatched a black jacket and brown sweater before he put Safia down on the sofa. He worn the brown sweater with remarkable speed and helped Safia to put the black jacket on.
The oversized jacket drowned her small body and with a cute cap on top of her head to prevent people from recognising her. Already it was a rumour in town that she had gone missing. She was sure that it must be her apartment owner who had reported that to the police because she had been away for a whole week getting to two and she was nowhere to be found.
She lifted her head to look at him and his figure blurred but in the next second he was crunching down in front of her while lifting her feet to put her shoes on. She felt uneasy with what he was doing, so she leaned forward with the intention of trying to worn her own shoes herself but Austin caught her hands before she could touch her feet.
"Allow me to do it" he said indulgently and lifted the other feet.
After he was done putting on her shoes, Austin buttoned-up the black jacket and pulled out her hair from the cap while saying.
" Don't overthink, we are going to my main place. This place is one of my hotels". When Austin was about to lead Safia towards the door, Lan suddenly mind-linked him .
[Austin don't come out, we can't leave now]
" [What has happened again?] Safia peered at Austin from under her cup wondering why he suddenly stopped moving. They were standing right in front of the door all while and was in the middle of turning the door while his other hands held Safia's waist protectively.
With their height Safia could easily stare at his chiseled jawline and that was a beautiful sight to see. His ocean blue eyes dimmed a few shade while he kept his glanced eyes fixed on the door hand.
Safia hardly met with new people when she live alone. However, even when she did meet many people in Mr.moons company, she was afraid to meet their mocking eyes, afraid on how they would think that she was crazy and made fun of her being in her condition. Mostly whenever she started to whimpered about seeing the time frozen and things stopping in place.
