I wanted to make a elaborate formation and let the skeleton soldier, skeleton archer and skeleton rider follow. Even if they could not act on their own, they could follow what I had planned without any doubts.
I made skeleton soldier to stay at first and act as a meat shield or rather bone shield and tank damages if any hostile creatures came nearby. Skeleton rider would be the second troop in this formation who would rush to beat up the enemies who were busy attacking skeleton soldier and the most important part was given to skeleton archer. Skeleton archer would act as a damage dealer, lying in ambush and attacking the enemies from a safe distance.
Looking at the formation I had created, a sense of sastisfaction filled my heart. Unless a enemy stronger than my skeleton pawns came and supressed them in one move, they could always create a advantage as they would not be hungry, afraid or tired like a human being.
I was dividing my attention between giving orders to the skeleton pawns and keeping an eye on the mana point bar. I had yet to check the dome of bone skill.
Just as I finished ordering the skeleton pawns around, mana points required for dome of bone had also recovered. Without any delay, I chanted dome of bone.
A strange sound permeated in the surrounding along with the increase in the concentration of deathly aura. The deathly aura didn't stop to concentrate even after the sound was gone and the forest was filled with silence again. Looking around carefully, a big plate of bone had appeared above my branches and small bony protusions began growing in length.
After fifteen full minutes, my whole body was enveloped in a dome shaped structure made up of bone. The abundance of deathly aura inside the dome of bone surprised me. Deathly aura was very important to a necromancer was what I deduced after some reasearch. And it was true, the amount of mana points I recovered had increased and the effects of necrotic healing was also tripled.
My happiness after seeing the miraculous effects of dome of bone didn't last long. Such a broken skill could be activated only for 500 mana points was too good to be true. I knew that there would be some limitations to this skill but 120 mana points to keep up the dome for 2 minutes, it was like scamming me of mana points.
I could recover mana points faster inside the dome of bone but the consumption would not be equal to what I could make and ultimately it would proved to be ineffective. I wanted to declare dome of bone to be the most useful skill but it proved me wrong real fast...
SHAKE....SHAKE.....SHAKE...
I had just finished checking out the dome of bone and suddenly the ground began shaking. Suddenly the scary beast from before came to my mind but I discarded the thought as the shaking this time was very different from back then.
As I was searching for the source of this shaking, the mechanical voice sounded.
