THUMP.....THUMP...THUMP...THUMP
Violent shaking of the ground around me disturbed me from my focused state. The shaking was so bad, I nearly got uprooted. My peaceful meditation was forcefully interrupted and it pissed off badly. I thought it was a earthquake but can we even call it a earthquake. Nevertheless the shaking was there.
With a pause, shaking of the ground stopped. The thumping sound associated with the shaking had also stopped mysteriously. Something felt amiss and it prompted me to open my eyes.
A huge eyeball that was equal to my height welcomed me. It was concentrated as there was no blinking. I was startled out of my mind. A cold freezing breeze blew past me. It was probably the breath of the beast but why was it cold though. I wanted to run the fuck out of here as fast as possible and as far as possible but I was unable and something inside my head was constantly ringing like it was saying that if i even moved a single leaf voluntarily I would die then and there for a second time.
After a while the huge eyeball went backwards at first and then it rose. After the beast was standing, I could take a glimpse at how huge the beast really was. The beast looked little familiar. Its appearance and bodily features were strikngly familar to godzilla, a fictional beast that I was fond of when i was at earth. I used to make fun of people for being scared of the beast and usually criticized for not even having common sense to do things i had in my mind. I often used to say i would have done this if i had been there. Now if i was given a chance I would slap my previous self half to death. This beast could end me with its breath and i was absolutely helpless infront of it. The beast was a living breathing incarnate of chaos, destruction and death. I accepted my fate, closed my eyes and waited for the beast to take its action.
