Chapter 10 - Fire Level UP!

After dinner was over Rian walked slowly over to the knight, holding out his hands. The knight began to tie him up with a rope. The two then left the cafeteria, the knight leading the way through the hallways of the castle. Rian followed obediently, the rope around his wrists a reminder of his captivity. They eventually arrived at his cell, and the knight opened the door, allowing Rian to step inside. The knight then untied Rian from the rope and leaves the cell, locking Rian in for the night. With a stern look, the knight departed, leaving Rian alone in his prison cell. Rian moved around the cell, feeling a sense of freedom despite his confined space. He paced the room several times, unsure of what to do next. At last, he went to the so-called bed and lay down. He lay awake for a while, his mind racing with thoughts of his future and what might become of him now that he has a system. He's trying to process his situation until he drifted off to sleep.

Rian groggily opened his eyes, disoriented from the abrupt awakening. He felt someone's hand still on his face, and as his vision cleared, he saw a familiar shadow figure standing in front of him.

"Wake up kid!" the System said sternly.

He felt his heart racing, his breath shallow as confusion swirled inside of him. He shook his head slowly, trying to clear it, and slowly rose to his feet. He looked around him, recognizing the familiar terrain of his inner realm. He had come back to the fragment of his mind.

Rian sighed "I feel dumb now. I forgot about this place."

As feeling a wave of embarrassment wash over him. He had forgotten about this place, the depths of his mind.

"Welcome back to the fragment of your mind," the system's voice said, breaking the silence.

Rian nodded, acknowledging the voice. He was back in the fragment of his mind. He took a deep breath.

"I would like for you to level up that fire skill of yours" The system stated.

"How am I suppose to level it up," Rian asked

"Well," the system said, "I suggest practicing. Start by honing your technique and observing the way fire behaves. Once you have gotten the basics down you'll soon start to see your skill level up."

Rian was filled with excitement and determination as he declared, "It's time to level up this fire skill!" He was eager to take his fire manipulation to the next level and couldn't wait to get started. He had been studying the basics of fire manipulation for some time, and he had explored numerous techniques and strategies. He was ready to put his knowledge to the test and take his fire skills to the next level.

Rian sat on the ground with his hands open and eyes closed, trying to create a fire in his hands as he had done before. Yet he was having difficulty this time. He could feel the heat of the fire within him, but when he tried to focus on manifesting the flames, they seemed to slip away from his grasp.

Rian felt his frustration growing with each failed attempt to create a flame in his hands. He had tried all the tricks he knew, but could never get it to work. He was beginning to feel the heat of his anger rising, and he clenched his fists in frustration. He was determined to master this ability, and he refused to give up. He tried again and again but still was not able to create the fire he wanted. He was becoming more and more angry with himself.

Rian let out a heavy sigh, scrunching up his face in frustration. He had been working hard and he still hadn't made any progress.

"Damn it!" Rian shouted in frustration.

The system had been watching Rian for the past few hours, and it had noticed his growing frustration. It wanted to help him, so it spoke up in a gentle voice.

"Take a break kid," The System said. "You've been working hard and you need to give yourself a break." Rian sighed again, realizing the system was right. He thanked the system and took a few minutes to step away. After a few minutes, he was feeling refreshed and ready to get back to work.

Rian closed his eyes and got into a meditative pose, feeling relaxed. He opened his hands and concentrated, trying to create a fire in his palms. His mind was clear and his breathing was steady, and after a few moments, a small spark started to flicker in his hands. He kept his focus on the spark, feeding it with his energy and intent until it began to blaze. Rian slowly opened his eyes, and to his surprise, he saw a small flame flickering in each of his hands. He felt a strange sense of calm come over him as he admired the beauty of the flames. Rian then dispelled the flames from his hands with a newly found confidence. Rian was determined to push himself further. He began to practice, honing his skills and pushing himself to his limits. With each passing hour, he could feel his fire skills growing stronger.

Rian sat on the floor, closing his eyes as he got into a meditative pose. He focused his mind on a single task - to create a fire from beneath him that would be strong enough to lift him. He took some deep breaths and imagined the energy of the fire, allowing it to grow and build within him. As he kept focusing on the fire, he began to feel its warmth radiating through him, and he could sense it was getting stronger. When he felt it had reached its peak, he opened his eyes and looked down. Rian opened his eyes and looked down in awe. He could feel the heat of the fire, but it was not burning him. Instead, it was lifting him off the ground. He watched as the flames burned higher and higher until it seemed to reach its peak. He felt a sense of amazement at the sight before him - he was sitting atop a burning fire, and yet he remained unharmed. He savored this moment, remembering it forever.

He was thrilled with his success and couldn't help but cheer in excitement.

"I DID IT!" Rian exclaimed, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment.

The system responded to Rian's outburst, "Good Job Kid."

Rian began to extinguish the fire he created, the flames slowly fading away. Rian felt himself get lowered to the ground as the fire dissipated. He had done it, and now the area was safe.

Suddenly, the system stood beside Rian and pressed a shadowy hand against his head, saying "It's time to return to the real world now."
