As Rian stood before King Gulliver. The king's eyes narrowed, and his hand instinctively reached for the hilt of his sword, but before he could draw it. Rian raised his hand, sparks of electricity crackling between his fingers, showcasing his control over elemental powers.
King Gulliver's expression hardened, his initial surprise giving way to a mix of anger and Fear. "How dare you trespass into my throne room!" he bellowed, his voice bounced off the walls. "Guards, seize this intruder!"
King Gulliver's guards moved to surround Rian. As the guards closed in on Rian, he remained calm and focused. His masked face showed no sign of fear as he channeled his elemental powers, ready to face whatever came his way.
The guards lunged at him, their swords drawn and spears pointed in his direction. But Rian was swift and agile. With a fluid motion, he dodged their attacks, effortlessly evading their weapons.
Meanwhile, back at the tavern, Sir Tristan and Marx woke from their slumber, they exchanged concerned glances.
"Did Rian leave without us? What trouble has he gotten himself into now?" Sir Tristan asked.
"Knowing Rian, he's probably gotten himself tangled in some dangerous situation again. We should hurry and find him before things get out of hand." Marx Replied.
They quickly gathered their gear and rushed out of the tavern, making their way towards the castle where they knew King Gulliver's throne room was located.
Back in the throne room, Rian had enough so he sent a powerful gust wind to all the guards around him knocking them far and then used his elemental manipulation and used his earth control to keep the guards trapped on the ground. As the dust settled from Rian's display of power, The guards, now trapped and powerless, could only watch as Rian stood in the center of the room, his elemental abilities still crackling with energy, his masked face still calm and determined.
Rian reached up to pull his mask down to show King Gulliver his face. As Rian pulled down his mask, revealing his face to King Gulliver, the king's expression shifted from anger to astonishment. He recognized Rian, The talentless forger. The once weak and battered prisoner he had taken delight in tormenting. The sight of Rian standing there, transformed and empowered, struck fear into King Gulliver's heart.
"Rian... How is this possible? I thought you were locked away in the dungeon," King Gulliver stammered, trying to regain his composure.
Rian's voice was steady and cold as he replied, "I'm back to claim justice for all the suffering you've caused."
With the king trapped and unable to move, Rian approached King Gulliver with his flame enchanted sword in hand. The blade glowed with fiery energy, reflecting the intensity of Rian's determination. As Rian closed in on King Gulliver, a mix of fear and resignation washed over the fallen king's face. He knew there was no escape from the consequences of his actions. The once-mighty ruler was now at the mercy of the avenger he had created.
"Now time to lose that precious hand of yours to my very own creation," Rian said with a smile. With one swift swing of his sword, Rian severed King Gulliver's hand from his arm. The sharp blade cut and burned through flesh and bone, leaving the fallen king gasping in pain and shock.
As the echoes of King Gulliver's agonized screams filled the throne room and Rian had a sadistic grin on his face. The guards, who had sworn their allegiance to protect the king at all costs, now found themselves trembling with fear. However, they were helpless, trapped on the ground, unable to escape Rian's elemental hold.
Rian's eyes gleamed with a malevolent glint as he peered down at King Gulliver, his voice oozing with pure venom. "Gulliver, mark my words," he sneered, "I shall return to claim your head." The king, his body battered and shattered, was left paralyzed with fear, unable to do anything but watch in sheer terror as Rian made his ominous vow.
Sir Tristan and Marx rushed into the scene, their hearts pounding in their chests. They were met with a shocking sight - trapped guards and the severed arm of the king lying at their feet. The gruesome scene sent shivers down their spines
"Rian, what have you done?" Sir Tristan yelled.
Rian quickly sheathed his sword and raised his hands, dispelling the elemental hold on the guards. However, Rian couldn't bring himself to face his companions
"Tristan, Marx, I'm sorry you had to see this" Rian spoke.
"This is too extreme," Marx said, gesturing towards the fallen king and his severed hand.
Rian's eyes hardened, his gaze unwavering. "You don't understand," he replied, his voice low and determined. "This is only the beginning."
Marx shock his head "We came here to help you seek justice, not to become a ruthless avenger!"
Rian turned his attention towards the King. "Guess it's too late for me," he muttered.
Marx shook his head, his expression filled with disappointment. "We didn't sign up for this,"
Rian sighed, "I never wanted any of you to be a part of this, if only you guys stayed asleep in the tavern"
Sir Tristan approached Rian "Don't blame us for worrying about you," he said, his voice filled with genuine concern. "We care about your well-being," he added
Taking a deep breath, Sir Tristan spoke again, his voice filled with a mix of understanding and caution. "Rian, we may not fully understand what you've been through," he began, his tone gentle yet firm. "But resorting to this will only lead to more suffering and darkness."
Rian looked at his two companions and smiled "I'm Sorry"
Once said Rian sent a powerful gust of towards his to companion. Before they could react, Rian's gust of wind swept Sir Tristan and Marx off their feet and sent them tumbling backward. They landed a few feet away, shocked and disoriented from the sudden force.
"What are you doing, Rian?!" Sir Tristan shouted, struggling to get back up.
Rian's expression remained resolute, but there was a hint of pain in his eyes. "I can't let you get involved any further so goodbye"
With a final glance, Rian summoned his fire manipulation powers, channeling them through his feet. The flames erupted, propelling him upwards with incredible force.
As he launched himself into the horizon. As Rian flew through the dark and stormy night.
The storm raged on, but Rian remained calm. He maneuvered through the chaotic currents, using his powers to navigate the treacherous winds. The flames that propelled him burned brighter, providing him with the necessary energy to push through.
As the night wore on, Rian could see the faint glimmer of dawn on the horizon. The first rays of sunlight began to break through the stormy clouds. Finally, after what felt like an eternity he eventually landed on a remote mountainside.
Rian sat on the mountainside, He took deep breaths, trying to steady his racing heart
"Finally got my revenge, but at what cost?" Rian whispered to himself. With a final sigh, Rian stood up from the mountainside. A new chapter awaited him
