Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 : Another Girl This Time

It's been about a week since I realized I was reincarnated. I'm not sure if I'm counting my waking hours accurately since I don't have much time awake, but even if I've made a mistake, it doesn't really matter since nobody's relying on it.

I still have no idea about my current situation.

When it comes to reincarnation, there are various possibilities: it could be a different world, a historical figure, or a game world. I'm trying to figure things out as quickly as possible so that I can come up with a plan.

I have a lot of time on my hands, after all.

For now, I'm pretty sure it's not a time loop.

Aside from a woman who seems to be my mother, there are multiple servants coming in and out to take care of me. This is not something that would happen in an average Japanese household.

It seems that my current family is quite wealthy.

Honestly, I don't see the point in redoing my life. My previous life wasn't particularly fulfilling, but I didn't have any complaints, either. I don't regret anything, except maybe that I should have been a little more filial since I knew I would die young.

Repeating that kind of life would be depressing.

Oh, and one more thing: I'm a girl. This is important.

It didn't go my way in my previous life.

In light novels, the main character usually reincarnates as the same gender, but there are exceptions. Even if it's a small number, gender identity disorder can occur, so I don't think consciousness is tied to the body. In other words, it wouldn't be unnatural to have a 1/2 chance of reincarnating as the same gender.

I don't know if this mysterious phenomenon called reincarnation makes sense, but in this case, I don't think my knowledge of light novels, which includes convenient plot devices, will be of much use.

That's why I checked it thoroughly.

When I was younger, the plastic yarn was still cute, but I'm glad I didn't end up with it as it became more grotesque over time.

If things had gone differently, I would have been mourning the future right now. I'm grateful for the 1/2 chance.

For now, my life in this different world is boring.

I mostly sleep, and when I get hungry, I wake up. When I start crying, someone who seems like a servant calls my mother.

I use words like "seems" or "like" because I can't see the faces of the people who are taking care of me very clearly. Apparently, my brain or optic nerves are still undeveloped. It feels strange that I can see my mother's face when she picks me up, but I can't recognize her.

When my stomach is full, I feel good and go back to sleep. Or rather, I can't stay awake. My consciousness cuts off like a power outage.

I sleep, wake up, drink milk, and sleep again. This cycle repeats a few times and the day is over.

There's no room to gather information.

But I made an important discovery.

My mother this time has big boobs.

It's important.

To me, who was a bit meek in my previous life, it's a really big deal. When I try to drink milk, it gets buried. They're really soft.

I inherited her genes. I can expect to grow in this life.

My enthusiasm for what life will bring is definitely going up!
