~ Lilac's POV~ _________________________________________________________________________________________________

It was pitch black outside, while the weather seemed to be perfect for star gazing.

Darius swooped me off my feet, making me squeak. "Let's go!" He grinned, sprinting into the woods.

Peeking over his shoulder, in the distance, I saw Orion teleport. Within seconds, he was next to us, running at Darius' speed. "Cool!" My eyes sparkled at his abilities. He smiled back at me.

"What about Mason?" I asked. Were we going to leave him behind?

A big wolf showed up running with us. Mason held onto its fur for his life. "We are here!" He groggily replied.

I smiled awkwardly. At this rate, I think he was going to faint.

"Hold on tight love!" Darius spoke making me blush at the nickname.

I flung my hands around his neck, holding on for life. Soon, everyone picked up speed that no mortal could ever run at. I was really impressed at them.

This was the power of the supernatural that existed in this world.

Within the next few minutes, we had reached a small cabin next to a flowing river, as the moonlight sparkled on its waves. Except for our footsteps, the entire place was silent. I could feel the breeze weaving through my hair, ruffling it in the process. The alluring scent of woods and salty water tingled my nose, making it scrunch up in delight. It was truly magnificent, yet peaceful at the same time.

"We are here!" Announced Darius putting me on my feet.

I looked up at him and he had barely broken a sweat. "Do vampires sweat?" I asked unconsciously. Darius looked at me with a raised brow. "No, they don't!" He replied amused.

I nodded satisfied with his answer as he patted my head. Looking around, Orion kept complaining about being tired of teleporting. "Do demons get tired of teleporting aggressively?"

Can you blame me for asking? It's my first time seeing or even thinking about a demon trying to get attention.

"He's just bored and wants attention!" Whispered Darius huskily in my ear, sending chills down my spine.

Shaking my head, I looked at a dazed Mason lying on the ground. It felt as if there were small birds circling around his head like a halo. I giggled at the thought as Darius went closer to check up on him.

However, Octavius was nowhere to be seen. I looked around sporadically searching for him. From behind the bushes, he arose putting on a white shirt, showing his six packs, no it was definitely eight packs. His eyes met mine as he smirked cheekily. Blushing, I looked at Mason who kept whining about being dizzy.

"You can look at me if you want to love." Octavius grinned approaching me, leaving a few of his top buttons open on purpose. I gulped looking back at his face, and not at his very nice chest. Excuse me!

Don't you dare look down Lila! You cannot become a pervert. I'm sure I was making a weird face looking at him.

As graceful as he was already, he bent down next to my ear and whispered, "I'm all yours after all, my love!"

"Haha, look at this place. It's so pretty, isn't it?" I slid away from his body heat, spreading my arms in the air. He chuckled at my attempt to distract myself.

"Yes, indeed. We will do whatever you want!" He told me dangerously coming close to my back as I felt his body heat radiate. His hands trailed the outline of my hand as I felt his breath next to my left ear. "After all, you are our queen. We shall do as you desire!" I closed my eyes in response, leaning back on his chest unconsciously.

Mason clapped as our attention snapped towards him. "Now that I have all your attention, I made a potion for us." He was back to normal.

"Is this the one that kills us?" Asked Orion pointing at the disgusting looking black potion that Mason held in his hand.

Mason smacked the back of Orion's head. "No. Also, I don't think it's possible to kill a demon as a mere mortal." He rolled his eyes dramatically as Orion whined again.

Within a second, Orion was next to me. I panicked as I took a step back with a hand on my chest, trying to calm it down. "Stop teleporting like that. It's scary!" My heart almost jumped outside my chest.

He smiled winking at me. "Ah, I guess you will have to get used to it." I rolled my eyes at his response.

"Here, drink this Lila!" Mason extended his hand containing the disgusting looking potion towards me.

I accepted it grudgingly, yet smiled at him awkwardly. "Thanks. What is it?"

"Just drink it!" He smiled looking at me expectantly waiting for me to drink it.

Everyone stood behind Mason and motioned for me to not drink it. They are so fast! they always move around in the blink of an eye. My head was starting to spin with how fast they moved around. The only normal ones around here, seemed to be me and Mason.

I looked at the vial of potion suspiciously and drank a sip of it. Mason quickly grabbed it from my hand. "That's enough for two hours!"

"For two hours? What was that?" I asked tasting the bitter thing on my tongue. Ew, it really made me feel like puking.

"Although Mason's potions taste bad, they are of the highest quality." Spoke Octavius, taking a sip of it too and making the same weird face as mine. I giggled looking at him.

Soon I felt my body become lighter as my feet lifted off the ground slightly, making me topple frontwards. Orion caught my hand, helping me balance in mid air. I looked down to see if we were actually floating and to my surprise, we were.

"Woah! Easy there!" Orion spoke holding onto both my hands tightly.

"This is so cool!" I gasped.

"You bet it is!" I looked up to see everyone had already drunk the potion and were floating in mid air. "Wow!"

"This isn't even the best part!" Spoke Octavius.

"Let's go!" Yelled Mason as he launched himself up in the sky, followed by Octavius and Darius.

"Just let go, be free. Think of being near me and hold onto my hand tightly." Orion sent a wink my way, making me red again. These people are really...

Closing my eyes, I did as Orion spoke and soon, I felt the wind touch every part of my exposed body. My other hand was sprawled open, to feel the wind feeling it whisk through my fingers. I opened my eyes to see the ground far away from us, panicking I quickly clung onto Orion's cape. He looked down at me worriedly. "Just look ahead of us."

I nodded as we followed the others, trying not to think of how high we were.

We paused at a very high point, where we could see the stars more clearly. I looked down to see us faraway from the earth's ground. We could see the lights of the Campus in the distance as well.

Upon looking above, I saw a vast sky adorned with stars that shone brightly in the dark night. It was a clear sky with no clouds. The stars seemed so close to me that I could probably touch them. My heart paced faster at the sight in front of me. It was truly magnificent. Before I knew it, tears were rolling down my cheeks.

"You are crying?" Orion looked at me as he whisked away the tears using his powers. "Don't cry! Just smile!" He hugged me as I gave him the brightest smile I could muster.

"It's wonderful. I didn't know such a place really existed. There are no words to describe this sort of scenery."

"Then, we promise from today onwards, we shall take you to see even more beautiful sights than this!" Octavius smiled tenderly at me.

"I would love that very much. But you don't have to do that for me. It would be too much." I spoke looking away shyly.

Octavius flew in front of me as he tilted my chin with his finger to look at him. "We would do anything your little heart desires."

Butterflies erupted in my tummy as I lost my train of thought. "Anything my heart desires?" I looked at him in a trance, repeating the words he mentioned. My heart desires. What does it desire?

"Yes!" Mason spoke floating next to him.

Darius held my other hand. "You can think about what you desire and when you are sure, do share it with us. You do not need to burden yourself for anything. Over here, you are free!"

"Free..." Like the stars in the sky? I repeated the words in my head yet again. This is what freedom feels like. It was a relaxing feeling, not having to worry about anything, except for some butterflies fluttering their wings in my heart and tummy.

"That sounds nice. Thank you very much you guys. No one has ever done anything like this for me." I smiled genuinely with uncontrollable tears falling down. I felt Orion's and Darius' hands tighten around mine. My hands! Looking up, Mason and Octavius had an angry look on their face.

"What's the matter?" I asked concerned.

"We will protect you, cherish you, love you and be with you whenever you need us. For eternity!" He spoke with sincerity and adoration.

I smiled nodding my head. "I will do the same to you as well."

Their anger melted away as they were replaced by genuine smiles.

"Look a shooting star!" I spoke pointing at the direction it came from.

Everyone looked around for it, but it had disappeared. They looked at me sadly.

I laughed as more shooting stars were seen behind them. We all gazed lovingly at them.

"Let's make a wish!" I suggested.

"A wish?" Asked Mason confused.

It should be okay to tell them about my world. After all we are soulmates. "In my world, people would wish upon shooting stars. It is believed that anything you wish upon a comet, will come true." I replied already trying to think of a wish.

I closed my eyes thinking of what I really want. Then it struck me. I already knew what I wanted ever since I met them.

'I wish for Mason, Darius, Octavius, and Orion to be happy forever.'

Opening my eyes, I watched the others thinking deeply with their eyes closed about what they wish. I giggled a little inside at their handsome faces.

Orion was the first one to open his eyes. His eyes met mine as he winked at me, making me look anywhere but him, blushingly. He really liked teasing me a lot.

We waited as the others opened their eyes. Spending the rest of the time chatting about different things, our likes and dislikes, lifestyles and about the University classes, the night passed by. Everyone seemed to be mad that Mason and I were in the same class, while everyone else were in separate classes from ours. But we still live together, so does it matter?

After two hours, we safely landed on the ground, but I couldn't walk. My legs felt like they hadn't been used in years, so Octavius carried me. Mason too had difficulty, but he regained his strength in a few minutes. What are these men? Why are they so strong? Oh right, they aren't human. But technically Mason is human, but he's still stronger than me. I need to ask him how he does so, later on.

"Lila, do you know what mind link is?" Octavius asked pulling me away from my thoughts.

My eyes gazed at Octavius' as I nodded. "I think it's when you have telepathic connection with others."

"Yes! But it also serves some other functions."

"Like?" Once again, curiosity flooded my brain.

"You can openly talk either with a single person or with a bunch of other people at the same time. Also, the people within the link can read your thoughts." He concluded.

"Oh, I get it now. Thanks for telling me." I smiled at him.

Darius was next to me a jiffy, as he moved a strand of hair out of my face. "Do you want to share a mind link with us?" He asked with his red eyes sparkling in the dark night, anxiously waiting for my response.

I lightly gasped in shock. "Can I do that?"

Octavius and Darius nodded their heads simultaneously smiling.

"Then, I would be honored to share a mind link with you all." I replied from the bottom of my heart. Having a mind link would prove to be helpful in times of danger.

Mason stood up with a hand on Orion's shoulder for support. "Well then, let me do the honors." He smiled.

I watched closely as Mason placed my hand on top of his left hand. His right hand held a pen of some kind. He drew the constellation of the 'Orion' on my hand. I looked at him puzzled. How is this supposed to create a mind link?

Within a second of completing the drawing, it glowed shining brightly, making me close my eyes. I felt a part of my mind's barrier being shattered as I felt their presence in my mind as if they spiritually resided there.

"Lila, can you hear me?" Orion spoke in my mind.

"Yes." The word left my lips.

I opened my eyes to look at everyone smiling at me. "You can speak through your mind with us now. Anywhere and anytime." Spoke Octavius in my mind.

"Like this!" A small voice inside my head spoke.

"Yes, good job little one!" Spoke Darius in my mind.

'Little one?' I blushed at the new nickname he called me.

"Oh, it looks like our Lila likes being called little one!" My eyes snapped at Orion as he smiled innocently at me.

"Call me daddy!" Spoke Octavius through the mind link.

"Are you insane?" Spoke Darius through the mind link.

"Why do you have to be so weird dude?" Spoke Orion through the mind link.

"Pfft! What a pervert!" Spoke Mason as everyone looked at Octavius weirdly.

"Daddy?" I thought as all their eyes snapped at me. Their gaze seemed to be yearning for something as I saw a proud look on Octavius and Orion, while Darius seemed to be happy, and Mason went red while it seemed that steam was coming out of his ears.

"What is it with that word? Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked concerned.

"Nothing! Don't say it in front of others!" Octavius warned dangerously.

I nodded innocently. "Okay, Daddy!" I joked but Octavius blushed looking away.

Hey, I was just joking!

The others looked irritated at him.

I couldn't help the smile crawling up my face. I made Octavius blush. I was so proud of myself.

"Let's go home." Mason spoke.

I could already feel my eyes close on their own accord in Octavius' warmth.

"Good night, everyone!" I thought through the mind link too tired to speak.

"Good night, little one! Sweet dreams!"
