Well that's a fact. Ersia and its people always help other people and nations, not vice versa. But again, the drought has never occurred before in Ersia, either.
Left with no choice, Ermaan lowered his head a bit, making The Fourteen to bring their swords ready to finish Stizaa and its history forever for such a tight remark, and then explained the situation, while motioning the fourteen to bring their swords back in the scabbards, which they did.
"Oh, that's so sad." King Chandresh empathises, earning a nod from Ermaan.
"Well, you came to the right place. We have five rivers and several countless ponds in our kingdom which leads to many seasonal floods and losses of lives and vegetation, because of which we always have to summon your army to carry out the rescue projects in those areas.
I agree, there's still time for the monsoon. Not to mention the summer won't go that easy on us if we don't have the water it takes for cropping the land and sustaining the livelihood. However, for the sake of old times, I am willing to offer you and your people the water of two rivers.
Now whether you would like us to transport the water from Stizza to Ersia or you, yourself, will transport the water from our kingdom to yours, the choice is yours.
I would have wanted to construct the new path, to change the course of the river, which will let it flow from Stizza to Ersia, but that will put the borders of two kingdoms in danger.
Not to mention you definitely won't like any Stizzan harming Ersian and we won't like any Ersian harming any Stizzan for anything. We trust The Alpha Team and only you guys.
So, we can transport the supply of water in big vessels, tied on the big containers, attached to the elephants and horses till the very borders, from where The Alpha Team can carry it to their or army who can deliver it further.
How does that sound?" King Chandresh asked and although the fourteen have scowling faces just like their leader. But the fact they are getting water is more than enough for them to care about anything else.
They just need water to grow crops and sustain livelihood. Once that's done then who cares about politics.
"That sounds great to me." Ermaan acknowledged making Chandresh nod.
"Then, I will tell my men to begin the arrangements. It will take at least a few days to a week to bring those big containers to the borders.
You see those animals don't run at the speed of light like your horses. So, please bear a little with us. However, for that one week, be our guest. Explore Stizza, do whatever you want, buy whatever you want and enjoy your stay here." Chandresh said, making the fourteen to humph in satisfaction, while Ermaan frowned.
They. Don't. Have.Time.
"As your highness says." Ermaan said, while pondering on the problem, while another round of uninterested conversation began, till Chandresh's advisor came and asked him to return to The Royal Palace as something serious had happened.
Ermaan and Chandresh both became alert and when Chandresh stared at Ermaan, he nodded. Thus, King Chandresh and The Alpha Team went together to the royal palace.
Although, The Alpha Team reached first and waited at the main gates for the King's convoy to arrive, as the gatekeeper didn't recognise Ermaan and threatened him and his team to stay out of the gates.
To everyone's shock, Ermaan complies, making the gatekeeper humph in satisfaction. Well, the fourteen had a doubt and question, but everyone kept their mouth shut, till the royal convoy came and The Alpha Team entered with them.
Nobody said anything as King Chandresh, The Alpha Team entered the royal backyard, the source of the problem. There was an animal. Not sure if he was worth calling the animal or not.
It has the body of a lion, brown hair, and a beard all the same. But it has fangs just like a snake. The Alpha Team has been to many places, but they have yet to find a lion with fangs. But that wasn't all.
Its tail resembles more to a fish, with scales and two fins at the end, just like the mermaid species of Norawa island unlike the normal lion tail.
It has red bloodshot eyes that are capable of scaring the shit out of humans. While its claws seem to have been made up of iron itself. So sharp, so deadly dangerous.
Again that wasn't all. This creature had wings on its back just like an eagle, making it impossible for the people present to not to let their jaws touch the ground. Yep the creature similar yet completely different from lion was fuckin flying in the air, spitting venom here and there, capturing the palace guards from their clothes and shredding them into pieces, before throwing them into the grounds.
This was the scene that welcomed King Chandresh and The Alpha Team. The Alpha Team was beyond horrified by the existence of such a nightmare creature, but when Ermaan saw Chandresh, he seemed rather calm and composed for a person whose people were getting hunted, caught and slaughtered by a flying creature.
Maybe because it wasn't the first time Chandresh had witnessed this.
"Your highness, what is this? " Ermaan asked.
" I am glad you asked, Kingsman. Unfortunately I don't know. Few years ago these terrifying creatures showed up in our Kingdom for the first time.
At that time, my father was the ruler and I was just a crown prince. We thought they might leave, but they kept coming and harming our people every now and then. So, in order to protect our people, I asked permission to kill them. I got the permission however till this date, I have yet to find out a way to kill them.
They even killed our previous king out of sheer rage and now are after my life. But it's like there's no way to kill them. Their venom is dangerous and can take life almost instantaneously. Their claws are even more dangerous than iron swords and can rip the flesh out of humans. The wings give them an advantage of being in the sky.
Not to mention those bloodshot eyes are beyond dangerous as these creatures can see anything happening from the right, left, up, down, forward, behind at the same time.
Till now we have been able to take down only one of them. That happened by an accident, when one of our archers hit the tail of that creature, leading that fellow to fall down on the ground with an earth sharing sound and get captured by us.
However, even till this day, it is alive. We had removed its wings, claws and fangs. Yet it is alive. We thought the key was the tail. However, when we chopped the tail off, the creature was still alive, kicking and breathing.
We have charred its skin, peel it off, even try to chop its head off, yet it just won't die. Not to mention, every part of skin of that creature regrew, along with the beheaded head.
It's like mother nature forgot to make a fatal weakness of these creatures, giving them almost an immortality." King Chandresh said, making Ermaan to stare at the creature flying in the air and then Chandresh.
"Is this the captured one?" Ermaan asked.
"No. It is another one. That one had been kept hidden at one of the places." Chandresh replied.
"If you don't mind, then can I meet it?" Ermaan proposed making Chandresh and The fourteen to stare at him for a good few minutes.
" However it has made a speedy recovery for the nth time and it might be just as dangerous as this flying one. But the fact that it is tied to the ground with heavy chains of copper might be of some advantage." Chandresh uttered, making Ermaan nod.
" Then my guard will escort you to that place." Chandresh added, making Ermaan nod again.
"Stay here and protect the King." Ermaan ordered The Alpha Team, before following the escort to the basement of The Royal Palace, which in itself was a unique adventure. Unfortunately he wasn't in the mood to gasp at the wonders, as many lives were in danger.
It indeed was a unique creature. But if it is threatening mankind and terrorising the people then it has to die. This has to come to an end, no matter the cost.
Thus, he focused completely on meeting the creature.

Soon, the guard looked at the prison guards and nodded, who opened the gate and let the guards named Sunak and Ermaan to enter inside the basement prison.
However Ermaan found a scary event, the ground was shaking.
"This is that creature's doing." Sunak said, making Ermaan wonder just how they kept him entrapped for decades at this rate. The ground was shaking badly as if it would collapse at any moment.
"Don't worry, the foundation of this palace is very strong. This beast can't break it."Sunak added after watching the horrified look in Ermaan's face.
