"what did you just call me". Mrs Roberts asked.
"mum". she replied.
"my child, you don't know how long I had waited to hear that word from you". she cried.
"mum it's okay". Eliza said as she gave her a big hug.
"mum". Eliza called as she broke the hug.
"what's wrong my dear". she asked.
"mum I want you to please forgive me. I have been keeping this for so long and I have to let it go, so that's why I'm telling you". she says.
"what is it dear". Mrs Roberts asked as she placed her hand lovingly on hers.
"it's about Daniel".
"what happened to Daniel? is he okay?". she asked as she bombarded Eliza with questions.
"he...he had an accident...a year ago". she said as she tightened the grip on her mother's hand.
"what did you just say? my son, you mean Daniel had an accident". she panicked.
"no mum, he didn't have an accident now it was a year ago...at the school's masquerade ball party". she replied.
"why didn't you tell or even nanny Matilda, what if something bad happened". she lashed angrily.
"I'm sorry".
"enough, where is Daniel now is he alright". she asked.
"he's at the hospital recovering but everything's fine you don't have to worry". she replied.
"Elizabeth Roberts, you're telling me not to worry and you know my son is in the hospital". she said pointing fingers at her.
"you can do one thing for me and that is by telling me which hospital he was admitted to". she stated.
"city hospital". Eliza replied and with that she picked up her car keys from the table and headed downstairs.

"Charles what do you want this time". Amanda asked as he sat down beside her during one of her classes.
"you've been avoiding me". he raised his brow.
"why".
"see Charles, thank you for everything you did but I just want to be alone. I kinda feel awkward around you". she confessed.
"Amanda you can't lie and it's obvious, I know you are hiding something what is it". Charles asked.
"nothing just go, I want to be left alone". she replied. Charles stood up and took one last look at Amanda and walked away to seat with his friends.
"Amanda". Ella called.
"don't lecture me". Amanda replied.
"seriously girl you can't keep lying to him, you need to tell him the truth". Ella argued.
"no I can't tell him and it's final". she stated.

"class settle down". the lecturer came in as he laid his materials on the desk in front of him as his gaze fell on the person outside.

"class let's welcome our new student". the lecturer said as all eyes focused on the person who entered the class and the person was no one other than -
"Sam Taylor". Amanda gasped as her facial expressions changed drastically.
