Alessia looks up to see a figure standing in the distance. It's Zeus, the god of thunder.
"What does he want?" Alessia asks, her heart racing.
"I don't know," Zagreus says, pulling her closer.
Zeus starts walking towards them, his eyes fixed on Alessia.
For him to show up personally to the mortal realm and attempt to hit Alessia with a lightning bolt means one thing.
He is after Alessia.
Zagreus's mind races as he thinks of a way to protect her. He knows that she's no match for Zeus, but he won't go down without a fight.
"Get behind me," Zagreus says, positioning himself between Alessia and Zeus.
Zeus stops a few feet away from them. His eyes were still fixed on Alessia.
"You are the one," Zeus says, his voice booming, "The one who holds the power that can shake the realms."
Zagreus meets Zeus's gaze. It's not the same gaze he first saw when he came to talk to Zeus weeks ago.
