Suddenly, a black portal opens in front of them, and Zagreus steps out, his eyes blazing with fury.
"Apollo," he says, his voice low and dangerous. "Let them go."
Apollo sneers. "I don't think you understand the situation here, Zagreus. Lucien will have the underworld, and I won't let you or anyone else get in his way."
Zagreus steps forward. His fists clenched at his sides. "I don't care what Lucien is planning. You will not harm Alessia or Gabriel."
Apollo laughs, his eyes flickering with amusement. "Oh, how sweet. Do you think you can stop me? You're a low-level God, nothing like your father, Hades."
Zagreus doesn't respond. Instead, he raises his hand, and a blast of darkness shoots out, hitting Apollo square in the chest. The god staggers back, his eyes widening in surprise as he falls to the ground. Zagreus turns back to Alessia and Gabriel, his eyes filled with concern.
"Are you two okay?" he asks, rushing over to them.
