The thief's grip on the gun tightened as he heard Eumura's footsteps coming closer. Suddenly, a loud clank echoed through the coffee shop, and the thief felt a sharp pain in his head as a plate struck him from behind.
"Akito! Now is your chance!" Eumura yelled at Akito. The thief dazed and confused he turned around to see Akito charging toward him. "What the hell?!" the thief yelled in disarray and anxiety as he saw both employees working together to take him down.
With a fierce battle cry, Akito swung his leg with incredible force, aiming for the thief's hip. The impact reverberated through the room as the thief let out a groan of pain. But Akito didn't stop there.
"I'm just getting started, Mister!" Akito commented as he clenched his fist, his eyes filled with determination. The thief's finger twitched on the trigger as he took aim at Akito, his eyes filled with malice and the thrill of the hunt.
"You little bastard!-" the thief yelled at him, wincing in pain after Akito damaged his hip. In that split second, time seemed to stand still as the fate of the two men hung in the balance. Suddenly, the deafening sound of the gunshot echoed through the coffee shop, shattering the peaceful morning air and the coffee shop window.
Akito's combat instincts kicked in as he dove to the ground, narrowly avoiding the bullet that whizzed past his head. The smell of gunpowder filled his nostrils as he frantically assessed the situation, his heart pounding in his chest. Chaos erupted outside as the bystanders screamed and scattered in all directions.
Time seemed to slow down as Akito dashed forward to him. Akito's self-training in Taekwondo kicked in, and he moved with lightning-fast reflexes. He launched into action.
"Impact Taekwondo, Form 1." Akito softly mumbled as he prepared for his attack.
"J-Jesus.. this guy is a beast.." Eumura thought to himself as he saw Akito in action, his hands trembling from fear. Akito's first move was a spinning hook kick that caught the thief by surprise. The kick landed solidly on the side of the thief's head, sending him stumbling backward.
"Form 2," Akito added, controlling his breath on the process. Akito followed up with a powerful roundhouse kick to the thief's chest, delivering an explosive impact and knocking him down to the ground, his ribs were broken. But Akito didn't stop there. He knew that the thief was dangerous and unpredictable, so he kept up the attack. Akito used a series of strikes and kicks, landing each explosive blow with precision and power. His fists and feet moved like lightning, delivering a flurry of devastating blows that left the thief reeling.
The thief tried to fight back, but he was no match for Akito's skill and strength. Akito blocked every punch and kick with ease, then countered with a brutal knee strike to the thief's gut. The thief doubled over in pain, gasping for air.
"Form 3!" Akito yelled as he ran towards the thief and delivered a final spinning back kick to the thief's face, knocking him out cold. The thief was heavily bruised and damaged. The coffee shop was filled with stunned silence as Akito stood there, his body still humming with adrenaline. He had just taken down an armed robber with nothing but his Taekwondo skills. Eumura's jaw dropped as he slowly surveyed the destruction that Akito had wrought upon the coffee shop. It looked like a war zone, with debris and broken furniture scattered everywhere. The civilians outside slowly look inside the shop just to find everything in ruins.
"What the fuck was that, Akito?!" he exclaimed, his voice a mix of shock and awe. Akito looked around at the mess he had made, scratching the back of his head sheepishly. "Oops, got a little carried away," he said, a hint of humor in his voice.
Eumura shook his head in disbelief. "A little carried away!? You broke the window, the table, the plates, and half the chairs in here!" he exclaimed, gesturing to the carnage around them.
Akito chuckled nervously. "Sorry about that. Guess I got a bit too into it," he said, his tone apologetic.
"Well, there goes my deposit!" Eumura added while continuing to look around, he looked Akito dead in the eye before telling him something.
"Hey, at least we can redecorate," Akito joked, trying to lighten the mood. But Eumura's expression remained serious.
"I appreciate you trying to save me, but maybe try not to destroy the whole shop in the process of saving someone," Eumura said, trying to keep a straight face.
Akito slightly nodded in agreement, realizing the gravity of the situation. "I'll do better next time," he promised.
Eumura's voice was stern and his disappointment was palpable as he spoke to Akito. "I can't have you working here anymore, man. I can't risk you causing any more damage to the shop or hurting someone else!" He reached out his hand for Akito's uniform, a symbol of his dismissal.
Akito hung his head in shame as he handed it over. Eumura's eyes eased slightly as he gave Akito his last paycheck. "This money will only last you a little while, Akito. You need to start taking responsibility for your actions and making something of yourself. Don't waste it on foolish things."
With a heavy heart, Akito watched Eumura walk away, his job and source of income now gone.
