When Alexander raised his head, he saw Olivia and a small smile made its way to his lips. "Ohh look who's here. Come join us for dinner"
Kim recognized the girl as Olivia. She had been seeing headlines of her posting on Instagram with Alexander. They seem to be in a serious relationship.
"I'm sorry to have bothered you. Maybe I should spend the night at my father's house" she turned to leave thinking Alexander would rush to her like he always does and hug her. She opened her mouth in shock when he didn't move. What did this mysterious do to him?
"It's not your fault" she heard him say. Shouldn't he be the one to apologize for not informing her about Kim before the announcements? But here she is apologizing for what she didn't do.
"Then I apologize for not informing you about my flight before iā"
"Are you not hungry? The food is getting cold"
Kim concentrated on the food she was eating but she listened carefully with her ears. She didn't understand why he was acting this way toward the poor girl. She could see that the girl was in love with him, and she even cried. It was just a misunderstanding. Once she finds her way she would get out of there.
"Okay, maybe you aren't hungry. Enjoy the rest of your night standing there" he curtly said as he ate the food.
"Wait, I'm hungry. I would eat. I didn't mean to anger you I just ā"
"Save it"
She wiped her running nose with the back of her hand before walking to meet Alexander.
"Wash that hand of yours before sitting close to me," he said to her.
Kim couldn't believe what she saw. Instead of petting the poor girl who was crying bitterly, he added more fuel to the burning fire. She looked up at Alexander who had an aggressive expression. She opened her mouth to say something but Alexander looked at her giving her a warning stare. He had warned her not to interfere in his business.
She stayed calm throughout finding a way to excuse herself from there. She wanted them to have a proper conversation and solve their problems in private.
"Thanks for the meal. I feel sleepy now, goodnight" she stood up. Her stomach suddenly got full even though she hadn't eaten much from it.
"Sit down!" he ordered.
"I need to leave for you guys to settle things"
"There's nothing to discuss there. She's not my wife and I have all rights to bring a woman into the house" he said turning his gaze to Olivia. "Whereas it was your stupid father who brought the idea of you coming here"
"Stop saying that" Kim shouted.
"I never liked her, it was her father's decision of bringing her here. I told her earlier that we aren't in a relationship. But she took it personally, thinking she's someone special to me"
"Then at least talk to her instead of throwing tantrum at her," Kim said. "Make her understand that there is not going between us"
"Sit down!" his voice so deep and commanding.
"I can't sit here and watch the poor girl cry because of your stupid behavior," Kim said.
Before she could make a move out of the dining room, two soldiers with broad chests stood in her way.
"Tell your men to leave my way"
"I am your President. Obey my command"
Alexander stood up in his full glory. "I don't care if it's a command. Tell your men to leave my way"
"Olivia you're excused. Go to your room" Alexander said, anger in his voice. He didn't bother to look at the crying girl who was begging for attention.
"Okay," she stood up like an obedient child and walked to her room.
As Olivia walked past her, Kim tried to follow her but the soldiers blocked her from leaving.
She recognized one of the men as the one she punched in his left eye.
"You would not be happy seeing your second eye blinded by a woman" she cursed under her breath as she stared at the men in anger.
"Now sit down" he ordered.
"I apologize Mr. President but I would do no such thing," she said. Who the hell did he think he is? Just because he's the President doesn't give him the right to order her as he pleases.
"You wouldn't like what I would do to your friends because of your anger"
With that, all the anger inside her quenched and she turned around like an obedient servant.
"Don't bring my friends into this"
"if you don't want me to bring your friends into any of our conversations then obey me" The anger in his eyes had washed away mainly staring at the girl. She was such a beauty, her almond eyes stared at him looking into his soul.
"You haven't eaten anything. Open your mouth" he said. "Don't try to act stubborn you know what I can do. I am glad you watch what happened to that man. Your stubbornness might lead to your friends being eaten up by the crocodiles"
Kim opened her mouth out of frustration. It felt as if he was using her for fun.
Once she was done with the food, she stood up and headed to the room. She would have to talk to Olivia tomorrow.
Upon opening her door, she saw that it was dark. What happened? She didn't off the lights before leaving.
The next thing she heard was the loud crack of the door. Someone had just closed it up. But who?
The lights turned on suddenly and she saw Olivia looking up at her with a murderous expression. Kim doubted this was the Olivia she saw at the dining. Replacing her crying face was a very cold evil stare.
"You had all the right to call me names. A mere low soldier like you calling me poor" Olivia let out a light chuckle. A maid was standing close to her.
"Tell her what happened to the last person who used that name for me," Olivia said to the girl.
"Dead," the maid said. "She is dead"
Kim swallowed hard as her eyes widened in shock. Who would have known she would switch characters in the next second? It was always the quiet ones that were the most dangerous.
