Chapter 20 - Military Training

The car was swaying, and Amelia felt a little dizzy. She felt like her organs were shifting inside her body.

"Miss, we're here," Uncle Taylor respectfully opened the car door.

Amelia took a few deep breaths to ensure she wouldn't panic due to the unfamiliar environment before getting out of the car.

"Uncle Taylor, where is this?" Amelia felt something was off. She had seen pictures of Saint Hua University in the brochure, which was a beautiful school that looked like a castle. But the imposing building in front of her was definitely not Saint Hua University.

"Miss, don't worry. This is a military base on Forest Peak. Saint Hua students have to undergo two months of military training before the start of the school year. It's been a tradition since the founding of the university. You arrived a bit late, and this year's freshmen are already undergoing training. Young Master instructed us to bring you here directly!"

Hearing this, she breathed a sigh of relief. Military training was taking place at a military base? The people behind Saint Hua were really powerful, which was why they could become Tyler's rivals!

Amelia didn't know how Tyler got her into Saint Hua, but she wasn't worried about her identity being discovered. Tyler wouldn't be foolish enough to tell the enemy that she was his person.

Following Uncle Taylor inside, he quickly handled her admission procedures, arranged her accommodation, and handed her over to an instructor surnamed Qin before bidding her farewell.

Amelia looked dazed and somewhat bewildered. The vast environment, unfamiliar people, and objects, while she appeared calm, she began to feel afraid. No matter how she tried to soothe and hypnotize herself, she was still scared.

She had never gone to an unfamiliar place alone before. Who knows how big a test this was for someone with autism.

Holding tightly to the military green camouflage uniform she was given, Amelia didn't know what to do first. How could she handle military training with her small body?

Thinking about her not-so-good health, she was worried, but when she thought about Tyler's situation, she immediately became spirited, with a determined look on her face.

"What are you standing there for? You have five minutes to change into your uniform and meet at the field in front!" An instructor approached Amelia with a smile on his face, raising his eyebrows and said, "Remember, five minutes, don't be late."

Without giving Amelia time to gather her emotions, all the instructors on Forest Peak were real soldiers, and discipline was the first priority for soldiers.

This Instructor Wilson was very fond of smiling and didn't look fierce at all, so when the new student Amelia arrived, she obviously didn't realize the importance of discipline. She figured she'd just go along with it since her goal wasn't to go to school, but to enter the research institute at St. Hua.

Her skin, too pampered by Tyler, felt a bit sore under the camouflage uniform. In the past, her clothes were always made of the best materials Tyler could find and tailored by professional designers. Amelia wrinkled her brow, but her hands didn't stop moving.

Her self-care skills were never strong to begin with, and Tyler had really spoiled her.

After changing into her clothes, she walked quickly outside. Forest Peak was large, with each class having its own training ground. St. Hua University was always more interested in quality than quantity, admitting only a few students each year. There were only six classes, and Amelia's class was Class Six. Their training ground was next to a row of poplar trees.

"Reporting!" Amelia ran over to the smiling Instructor Wilson and said in a cold voice.

"Ten minutes and twenty-eight seconds... Did you crawl here, new student?!" Wilson still had a smile on his face, but what he said was a bit harsh. "I remember telling you I only gave you five minutes!"
