Upon seeing the situation, some curious classmates hurried to inform the instructor of Amelia's condition. Upon hearing the report, Aiden Jameson couldn't help but curse out loud. "Damn it, she's useless! Get Wyatt Parker to take her to the medical room!"
In the past, running twenty laps was considered a basic part of daily training, but now she ended up in the medical room. Everyone looked sympathetically at class leader Wyatt Parker, but Jiang Hua just smiled nonchalantly.
Wyatt Parker was the class leader of Class 6, a versatile male student who got along well with everyone despite coming from an ordinary family. Even Aiden Jameson, who was usually picky, had no objections to him.
Wyatt Parker even smiled at Amelia when they first met, a person who was looked down upon by everyone else. Now, he helped her walk to the medical room, her brows furrowed in discomfort due to the unfamiliar feeling of a stranger's presence. If she had any strength left, she wouldn't let anyone get close to her.
"Hey, medic, a classmate has fainted! Quick, take a look!" Wyatt Parker called out to the medic in the medical room.
"Why the panic? Just put her on the bed first," the medic replied.
Following the instructions, Wyatt Parker put Amelia on the bed. As he took off her shoes, he was shocked to find that the sole of her foot was all torn up, and blood had soaked through her socks and shoes. How could she be so severely injured from just running twenty laps? And yet, how did she manage to keep going despite such a serious injury?
"She's exhausted, her feet are covered in blisters, and she has a fever. Tell your instructor she needs at least three days of rest!" the medic said with a hoarse voice, sounding pleased with the severity of Amelia's injuries.
It seems that many people in the army knew Aiden Jameson's notorious reputation, but this time it was a misunderstanding. It wasn't Aiden Jameson's doing, but rather Amelia's weakness.
Wyatt Parker opened his mouth but couldn't find the words to say. Her feet were covered in blisters and blood, and yet she kept going. "She'll need an IV later, so let her lie here," the medic said impatiently, waving his hand.
Wyatt Parker left with mixed emotions, who knows if he can recover in three days.
Thinking about his almost worn-out soles and Amelia, who remained calm despite her serious injuries, his emotions were really complicated.
He even felt some pity for the unattractive girl and had the idea of taking care of her a little bit during the next military training. This was not like him, he would actually do something that had no benefit. Wyatt Parker attributed this to his rarely shown compassion.
Amelia was half asleep and seemed to have been hearing someone talking all the time. It was too noisy and she felt so much pain, she just wanted to rest for a while.
However, the smell of disinfectant in the air and the hard bed made her uncomfortable. This was not a place she was familiar with.
It wasn't her familiar bed, and there were no familiar items, how could she sleep well?
Even when she was dizzy, she couldn't rest easy!
After a while, the liquid in the IV bag gradually woke Amelia up. As soon as she became conscious, she felt uncomfortable and saw needles on the back of her hand, and her feet were wrapped up. Looking around and seeing the military green color everywhere, she breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, she was still in the military base and not sent back to Grace Manor.
She didn't want to go back so miserably on the first day. She couldn't believe her legs, which had not been active for more than ten years, could complete the twenty laps.
It seemed that when a person had a strong purpose, it could unleash unlimited potential.
But the aftermath of this potential was that she couldn't walk for several days!
