Thorkell and Grima have come to find themselves not fully alone out in the woods; another female has shown herself proving to have the lovely chance to eavesdrop on their discussion.
"Who are you?" Throkell asked while making sure that Grima was safe behind him.
He took a good look at the female taking in that she looked to be another northern woman in around the late 20s with her black hair and dark eyes like most of those back at the settlement yet she wasn't someone these two can recall.
"Someone who just happened to be passing by came across such an interesting scene between a drow elf and a human northman girl. A good bedtime story to tell to the little ones in bed before they sleep, but the question leaving is what kind of ending to this could be a good one or a very bad one."
"This isn't your business to be involved in, you should leave us alone being on your way."
"Oh I would then again, I have been bored for some time now on my search, so long it's been going on that I'm starting to feel that what I seek will not be found after this long of a time."
Thorkell didn't like it. Something was off about this person being hard to tell what it is at this time. So he opens his mouth to speak at a low for just him and Grima to talk without their uninvited guest to listen in to whatever they are about to talk about.
"Grima, I want you to leave, I don't like this. She is giving me an uneasy feeling here, I want you to not be around when things show to change in a different direction."
"And what about you? Do you think of me as some weak girl who runs away afraid, you should know better than anyone that we women aren't ones to get scared, we are warriors like the men."
"That's what worries me."
"Are you two over with your secret talking? I rather get to my favorite part in tearing your flesh apart and having myself a nice good drink of your blood. I know I'm going to enjoy feasting on drow blood since the last time."
She takes a step forward in just a second to get between them at a shocking speed for such a person at their location to these two in just a near second.
This northern woman makes it clear to be more than she seems as a smile appears and then a strike as Thorkell was the first to be hit getting sent off to randomly impact his body against a tree where the force of the pain flows throughout the elf body when lying face flat to the ground.
"You elf, I will save for last which won't be for long when finished with this girl, your people's blood doesn't hold such a great taste yet I can not be picky about it now."
"Oh no, you won't touch him. I'm not going to let you bitch."
Grima swings at her not caring what this person is to be, but the chances of landing a lucky hit on this one were never there to be as the girl first was caught so easily.
"Nice try, little human, but there wasn't going to be any way for me to let such a weak species like you do any harm to me. That would be a dishonor of my kind, you understand."
"What do you mean?" Grima's face goes white witnessing this woman's eyes go from dark black to more demonic-looking ones she can stare into.
The other hands that free become in use when the nails turn into long and sharp claws that slash across the side of Grima's body leaving behind the claw marks and taking small bits of the flesh that got stuck.
A cry from the pain the girls had to experience where she worked to get away putting distance between her and this woman while placing a hand on the wound trying to keep the bleeding from getting out of control.
"You're a demon, how can that be who can summon out to this world."
"No one has summoned me, you humans think our kind needs to be summoned from our realm to yours by another. Yet that is not always the case as we demons could always find a door to this world on our own."
Right as the demon was talking, she got grabbed behind no doubt to be the drow elf Thorkell taking the opening to take her when the guard was down.
"Grima! Run now," he yells, fighting to keep the demon in his hold, taking the risk to gain its fury when she breaks free and will show no mercy.
The Girl, on the other hand, listens running away to save her life knowing that what they are facing there is nothing the two can stand up against. The only thing is for one to go back to the settlement and warn the people there, so they can come with her in helping Thorkell before it becomes too late.
"How romantic of you to be brave in saving your lover, pity it won't be long enough for her to not be within my reach again to feel my claws tear into the skin."
Throkell got attacked by the back of the head of this demon, but surprisingly didn't let go and kept on holding strongly.
"Strong one you are not something a race as yours for a drow elf to be able to be unless you're a half-breed whose mother or father breed with these northern people."
She then uses her demonic strength in breaking out of the drow elf's hold, turning around, and using the other hand whose nails became claws as well dragging into Thorkell's stomach.
Letting it stay there for about seconds till pulling them out to allow the blood of the elf out in the open instead of the guts lucky as it is that did not happen.
"Don't worry this will not kill." whisper into his ears before the elf falls onto his knees leaving him that way.
Her attention was on the human northern girl as she hasn't gotten away that far given the bleeding Grima is currently having to deal with getting weaker by it.
"Wait for me human, I'm going to enjoy playing with you for a little longer."
The demon fellow behind and the speed that this creature has will outmatch Grima, taking no longer to catch and pin the girl down to the dirt ground. She then turns her over for a little fun throwing a punch hitting right in the face while laughter is heard from the demon.
"Leave her alone, demon," Thorkell says, but word reaches not the demon's ears nor would it do anything to help the person he cares deeply for.
He tried to stand up, but the wound received prevented him from falling back down to one knee this time.
"Come on move, you have to save Grima, she needs you."
Thorkell began to get frustrated to not help when she needed to be saved and the time was short for a life on the line.
It was then within the drow elf's body something was starting to awaken from a deep slumber when it had been too long.
Such a desire, needing to save another life, a piece of a soul broken belonging to another, that this world will come to fear once again who will resume the quest of destroying the gods since the anger for them hasn't or never come to pass.
"What!? How this be…. This sensing feeling it can't be….. My lord."
The demon stopped with what she was doing slowly looking back at the drow elf looking now how different he was, releasing power and darkening areas that make the air feel heavy by its weight making any without a strong will to be crushed by it.
Even his eyes turn as she did and just before that mouth can open for the word to come out.
Thorkell quickly grabbed the demon by the throat pushing forward to slam her body into one or two trees before stopping hard at the third one close in breaking as well.
At this moment nothing was being sided in the state he was breathing heavily like a mad person fighting to stay in reality.
"Master…. Please if this is to be you….. Remember it is I Sannoth, your faithful and true loyal servant."
Listening to this demon talking seems to reach out as Thorkell shows to be struggling with something she has to keep going or there is no other way to save her life.
"Yes…. you have to remember who you are…. Xalroz the great mighty Lord of the demon race."
Once the name came out of Sannoth they worked to help get free as he had both hands on his head and a loud yelling roar that shook the earth causing the animals around to coward in fear.
It then that an explosion of darkness comes forth from the body pushing anything back that can't stand with its force. When over the body of the drow elf standing motionless on the spot it is in.
Sannoth wasn't sure whether to speak again or to use this as a chance to ease yet feeling as this demon felt the long journey searching which could be right in front of her was making it difficult to decide. There wasn't a need when the drow elf spoke with a different tone that shows more firmness and a little confusion.
"Tell me Sannoth….. How long has it been since my awakening?"
