It's been a week since the first day Savannah and Adam came to Saints.
During this past week, Savannah has managed to learn a lot about Saints and about the people that school there...
Savannah woke up to the sunshine on her face. She sat up and stretched a bit before checking the time. ' It's almost 6. Let me get up now before it's late'. Savannah thought to herself before getting up and making her way to the bathroom.
It didn't take long for Savannah to walk out of the bathroom. She slipped on her school uniform and used her mom's mirror to guide her in making her hair.
"Savannah, Adam! Come have your breakfast before it gets cold!" Savannah heard her mother shout and quickly tied her hair with a rubber band and grabbed her blazer and shoes before rushing out of the room.
"Okay mom, I'm coming". Savannah shouted before rushing into the kitchen.
Amanda was busy dishing out the oatmeal before seeing Savannah by the door.
"Oh there you are, take this and put it on the mat. Only God knows what your brother must be doing now". Amanda said before Savannah took the tray and made her way to the living room.
She placed it by the corner before laying the mat. She then sat down on the mat and took a one of the bowls.
"Adam! Hurry up and take your breakfast!" Savannah heard her mom scream as she took her breakfast.
"Okay mom, I'll be out in a sec!" Adam replied. Like every school morning, Amanda joined Savannah in the living room as the two of them sat for breakfast.
"Good morning mom". Adam said as he walked into the living room.
"And why are you just coming now?" Amanda asked as she shifted a bit to leave space for Adam.
"I was busy last night, that's why I woke up late". Adam said as he took a bowl of oatmeal.
"Does that sound reasonable to you?" Amanda asked as Savannah chuckled.
"And why are you laughing?" Adam asked as Savannah took a spoon of oatmeal.
"Did she do anything wrong?" Amanda said as Savannah continued to laugh.
"But mom-" Adam was about to say before Amanda cut him short.
"But what? I just asked you a simple question, does that sound reasonable?" Amanda asked.
"Well no but-" Adam said but couldn't finish his sentence because Amanda cut him short.
"No but's. Finish your food quickly".Amanda said as the three of them continued with their breakfast.
After a while, Amanda took the dishes to the kitchen while Savannah and Adam packed their bags. It didn't take long for the three of them reach the car and their journey started...
The ride was silent. No one said a word. Everybody lost in their own world.
Savannah as usual was busy staring out the window, watching pedestrians, trees and what not pass by them. The ride wasn't a short one yet it ended so suddenly. With the push of the brakes, Savannah's thoughts came back to reality once she saw the big building infront of her.
"We're here". Amanda said as Adam and Savannah came out of the car.
"Bye mom". The two of them said as they waved at Amanda's car.
Walking up the stairs already made Savannah feel weak. It was just the second week yet Savannah wasn't used to the stairs yet.
As both of them reached the top of the stairs, they both got separated in the hallway. Savannah made her way to her locker and since she already knew she classes for the day, she took out her notebook and writing supplies before making her way to her class.
As soon as Savannah walked into the class, she was greeted with students chatting and laughing. The noise made Savannah feel a bit uncomfortable. She made her way to her seat and waited. Christine hadn't arrived yet so Savannah sat quietly, waiting for either Savannah or the teacher to walk into the class.
She looked around the class and noticed that everyone formed separate groups and talked about different things while she was left alone. She also noticed that even though they've been in the same class for a week, she barely communicated with any of them other than Christine. She saw Amelia, Rachel, Hannah and Amanda talking so decided to join them, and besides, sitting alone in a noisy classroom would feel quite awkward for a new student.
She stood up from where she sat and slowly approached them. They didn't notice her presence until she stood next to Amanda.
"Oh hey, come join us". Amelia said once she noticed Savannah.
"You could sit on that chair". Amanda suggested as Savannah slowly pulled out the chair from under the table and dragged it to where they sat.
"Oh no, how did I forget". Hannah said annoyingly as she placed her hand on her forehead not long after Savannah sat down.
"What happened? Why do you look so annoyed?" Rachel said as she put her hand on Hannah's shoulder.
"No it's just that I forgot to do my English assignment. Mr Jonathan definitely scold me. This is the second time". Hannah said as she put her head on the table infront of her.
"Well, you still have time before English class. You can do the assignment before then". Rachel suggested.
"Are you sure". Hannah asks as she puts her head up.
"Yeah, and besides, English is last today, isn't it?" Amelia said.
"Well, but still, what if I'm unable to finish it?"
" What do you mean? Mr Jonathan gives us an assignment after every class, why should you be so worried about one?" Amanda said rests her back on her chair.
"Well, this assignment is important to me. I need to increase my total average ". Hannah said as she turns towards Amanda.
"It's your problem anyways". Amanda says as she rests her head on Rachel's shoulder.
Savannah glances towards her watch and realizes it's 15 minutes into the first period. "It's 15 minutes into the first class, why isn't the teacher here yet?" Savannah asks out of curiosity.
"Sometimes the teachers have a meeting and it ends up taking sometime into the first period ". Before Savannah could respond, she hears a loud thud on the table infront of her.
"This is my seat". Savannah hears a voice say and as soon as she looks up, she meets no one else but Kyle.
Without causing any trouble, Savannah apologises before quickly standing up and making her way back to her seat.
"Took you long enough". Savannah hears another voice say, she turns to the direction of the voice to see Christine.
"What do you mean by that?" Savannah says, trying to not think about how and when she came in.
"You've been talking to them for a while, so I waited for you to come back". Christine simply says as she turns her chair to face Savannah.
"But when did you come in here?" Savannah says as she also turns her chair to face Christine.
"I walked in while you were talking to them, I didn't want to disturb you so I waited here".
"Oh, forget about that, it's just. Why is Kyle so rude?" Savannah says finally letting the anger in her heart go.
"What do you mean by that?" Christine says with confusion clearly written all over her face.
"Didn't you see the way he spoke to me? He could have simply said,' you're sitting on my seat'. He didn't have to make it seem like I had committed a crime." Savannah said when she noticed a smirk on Christine's face.
"Well, he is rude but you can't blame him. Being the only child of rich parents and being ignored daily isn't a pleasing thing. But you seem to be more annoyed?"
Savannah was about to reply when she saw the teacher walk in. The whole class stood up and greeted before sitting down.
" Okay, sorry for the delay but let's make this quick. Take out your textbooks and turn to page 107, do number 1 under exercise 4a". All the students brought out their textbooks and started with their task.
Savannah was still thinking about the task when she unconsciously glanced towards Kyle. He was also looking in her direction. The sudden wave of nervousness flushed towards Savannah which made her look away and almost immediately, the bell rang.
"Okay class, group yourselves into four groups and do the assignment on the board. Put enough effort into it because it will be 20 marks. Also, this assignment will be due on Thursday, so make sure to submit it on time".Mr Williams said before leaving the class for the next teacher.

As soon as the bell rang for lunch, everyone quickly rushed out of the class.
"We're in the same group right?" Christine said as she packed her books and put them in her bag.
"Yeah but, what about our other two members?" Savannah said as she stood Infront of Christine.
"Don't worry about that, we'll take care of that later". Christine said as she took her bag and the two of them made their way out of the class.

As soon as lunch time was over, Savannah and Christine made their way out of the canteen. The class was as usual noisy and messy with books on every table and papers flying around.
Savannah and Christine made their way to their seat and sat down. Savannah looked around the class for a third and fourth member when Christine tapped her shoulder.
Savannah quickly turned around and said, "what is it?".
"I found us a third member". Christine said looking excited.
"Who is it?" Savannah asked wondering who this person could be.
"It's Alex". Christine said as Alex waved at her and she waved back.
Savannah looked around and saw Amelia, looked like she was already paired with Amanda, Hannah and Rachel, then she glanced at Kyle, why won't he be staring in space, looking to amused in his thoughts. She didn't want to do but just decided why not.
She got up from her seat and approached him, he didn't seem to acknowledge her presence even though she was standing a few feet away from him. She tapped his arm to gain his attention and viola, worked like a charm. He looked up at her and simply said,"what do you want?"
Why did it seem like he just hated her for some reason.
"Have you joined a group yet?" Savannah asked trying not to stutter or make a fool out of herself.
"No". Was the simple and short reply he gave before looking away.
"Well, would you like to join my group?" Savannah said as she turned towards Christine.
He didn't reply immediately but ended up saying, "sure".
"Okay". Savannah said before rushing back to her seat.
"Christine". Savannah said as she tapped Christine's shoulder.
"What is it". Christine said as she turned towards Savannah.
"I found us a fourth member". Savannah said, somewhat excited.
"Who is it?" Christine asked as she held Savannah's hand.
"Kyle".
Maybe she saw him in a different light, maybe he saw her the same way, either ways, there was something going on that they both couldn't figure out...
