Chasmion waited for seven more years. He was almost sixty by then. His youngest girl suggested to poison all the ponds and lakes in the Transdanubia area. They went again there. Reserved some water for themselves that would serve them for at least three months and then they poisoned the ponds and lakes around that area. He had actually planned to wait there for two months only. But nothing happened. Yes, a couple of villagers and forest dwellers died, but no wolf or werewolf died. Then there were different theories that the werewolves had abandoned their secret village and had shifted to another place or country all together. But Chasmion did not like that theory. He thought and expected that the last elder would be very proudy to leave his secret ancestral village. Chasmion waited there. Then he felt that they had a fault. They used to cook in the forest using fire and it left must have been telling the werewolves of their location. Whereas werewolves could eat raw meat and survive. They need not cook for ages. That was theain reason the secret village of the werewolves was a secret still now and actually the Silverarrows were being surveilled the werewolves not the other way around and the werewolves were not attacking them perhaps because they were meagre in number against the Silverarrows. It was a major discovery and Chasmion told his handful confidants about it.
Chasmion and his entourage left everything: most of their clothes, some rations, some water, tents, wood logs even some old horses and receeded back. But actually it was a stratergy. They did not go back to their country. They were just some miles away from the perimeter of Transdanubia. They did not cook. They ate raw meat of rabbits, chickens etc. and raw vegetables and water. They were just out of werewolves' nose shot, so that the werewolves could not smell or sense them. After a week, the full moon came and a hundred of werewolves came out to Silverarrows' hiding place and devoured the horses. They were clever not to touch the ration thinking they might be poisoned too. When the Silverarrows heared the horses' neighs, they quickly charged towards the forest again. There was a skirmish and fifty some werewolves died, five were captured, ten were wounded badly. But other werewolves scattered throughout the area. Silverarrows' casualty was big too. Hundreds of their soldiers and his five cousins died in the skirmish.
