The Silverarrows were half happy. They were not completely happy because they could not kill or capture every single werewolf.
But no worries. They had a hope. They planned to torture the captured five werewolves and get some facts abouth their secret village or their personal lives etc.
The five captured werewolves were now in human forms. Chasmion chose the oldest looking werewolf man and gave other fours to four of his friends. He had his ways of torture in his mind, whereas his friends were free to torture and kill other werewolf men.
Chasmion took his victim and tied him to a poll and asked his servants to gather logs around the poll. When wood logs were gathered, Chasmion asked his servants to burn them. When there was fire, Chasmion presented himself before his victim and asked, "Tell me where is your leader?"
The victim laughed.
Chasmion laughed also.
The victim laughed loudly.
Chasmion stopped laughing. He knew if he would continue to laugh he would sound a fool before his soldiers and servants. Chasmion changed his question, "Tell me the location of your secret village."
He had expected that the victim would laugh again. But no. The victim said in a husky voice, "There is no secret village."
Chasmion felt that his tone was believable. He asked his servants to get the logs out and put out the fire.
Then suddenly it occurred to him. Why did the victim laugh at his first question? Was his victim the leader of the last elder?
