The hospital machine was clicking in the cold room. Nate's fingers moved, and gradually he opened his eyes. He looked around, darkness hovered around him, and everything blurred in his eyes. He tried to move his hands, it felt heavy and the pain was too intense that he assumed his hands had been crushed a thousand times.
His eyes were getting acquainted with the broad light which had suddenly cleared the darkness in his eyes. 'Where am I?' He questioned inwardly. He gazed around the cold room and saw a machine clicking. He couldn't understand what was happening.
He looked up towards the door, his eyes squinted when he saw the burry figure of a woman at the door. He wanted to speak but he felt his throat was blocked. "Who are you?" He forced himself to release his question, his voice cracking at every word he spoke.
