Lana led Santiago to the toilet. After the first and second time going in and out of the toilet, Santiago couldn't take it anymore. He slid into his car and drove back home hastily.
The following day, it was reported that Santiago didn't report to work due to health issues and that was when Evelyn blamed her daughter Lana for it.
Lana felt ashamed and sad for herself. A soft knock tapped on the door, prompting her to roll her neck and look towards the door. She ignored the call, curdling herself inside the bedsheets. She refused to go out despite all the pleas from Nina the housekeeper.
"Ma'am, I have tried my best in calling the young miss out but she doesn't want to listen to me. I don't know what else to do."
Evelyn sighed hearing Nina's complaints. She perceived a probing pain coming from her head at the thought of being distanced from her daughter.
