Chapter 4 - Adrien

Jess's POV:

He led me out of the club, "Okay, first things first, we need to get you cleaned up," he said, as we made our way to his car. He drove me to the mall, and we explored a lot of stores because, well, I was picky. We finally got to Forever 21, and I changed into my usual wear, cleaned my makeup, and, of course, fixed my hair up in a messy bun. I felt like myself again. I still needed to know if he really knew what I was here for or if he just wanted to use me to get information. I made my way out, and he just looked at me and smiled. I made my way towards him, smiling, and we got to the register. I was about to pay for my clothes, but he offered.

We made our way out, and I asked, "So, how do you know?" giving him a confused look. He just sighed and didn't answer my question. "How can I even trust that you know why I'm here? For all I know, you could just be lying," I said, emphasizing the lying part. He just opened the door for me to get into his car.

"You were there for Adrien, right?" he said, looking at me. I didn't answer him. We continued our drive in silence. "What if I'm here for Adrien?" I said, breaking the silence. He just looked at me and then back at the road. I was about to say something until he said, "If you're here for Adrien, as I know you are, then you're here to marry him. I had a meeting with your father, and we already planned everything." He said this while still staring at the road. What the hell? I was confused now. I mean, how did my boss plan all this? I was only here to date, not marry.

"Wait a damn minute, my agreement was to date, not marry," I said, looking at him, waiting for a response. "I'm sorry," he said, while pulling over. Why was he sorry? The next thing I heard was the sound of something hitting the back of my head, and everything went black.

I woke up to the sound of two men arguing in the distance. Where the hell am I? Whose room is this? How did I get here? Wait, whose room is this? I quickly checked if I was fully clothed and sighed a sigh of relief when I realized I was. That asshole knocked me out in the car. I quickly got up and made my way towards the door. As I was about to open it, someone else beat me to it. I stepped back a bit to see who opened it, and it was none other than Adrien. I knew it was him; he was 6'5" with fairly dark skin, a god-like body, brown curly hair, and blue eyes. I just stood there, staring at him. We stood there for like five minutes in silence, an awkward one.

"How's your head? Uh, I mean, how are you feeling?" he said, finally breaking the silence. His voice was just...hmmm...I could listen to it all day. I just kept staring, forgetting about the question he asked. "You like what you see?" he said, smirking at me. It was then I realized I had been staring at him. "Uhh, no, ewww," I said, rolling my eyes. He just laughed. "How are you feeling?" he said again.

"I'm feeling not so good, but I would feel better if I see Lucas so I can strangle him," I said, remembering that the idiot knocked me out. "You look cute when you're angry," he said, chuckling. I just froze at what he said. Did he just call me cute? Oh, I must still be imagining things. "Me, cute?" I scoffed at his comment, trying to play it cool.

"Yes, you princess," he said, scanning me from head to toe. Okay, now I must be crazy; he called me cute and now a princess. I'm finally losing it, people. "Okay, enough with the name-calling. Where am I?" I asked, trying to sound serious.

"Oh, yeah. We're on my jet. I'm taking you home, princess," he said, winking at me. Home? What the hell? What's happening? Okay, now I'm confused as hell. I need to get to the bottom of this. I need to talk to my boss because I need to know what the hell is going on.
