Jess pov:
I got out of the car and looked up at the club, taking a deep breath and making my way to the club. I made my way for the entrance not even glancing at the people standing in line, getting to the entrance I was stopped by the bodyguard.
He was a tall dark skinned man and from the look of things he was well in his early thirty's. "Where do you think you're going miss?" Asked the bodyguard with his deep voice, "where else if not in" I replied trying to step in again only to be held back by him.
"Miss get to the back of the line and wait like everyone else" he said while letting go of my hands, "dude I'm warning you I have an important meeting in that club right now and if you don't let me in I'll...." I was cut off by the sound of a males voice. "Let her in she's with me" he said while making his way towards me, I hadn't spared him a glance yet because all that was on my mind was killing this body guard who the hell does he think he is.
The man stood beside me holding my waist and taking me in, of course I let him i needed to get in and I needed to get in fast. As we man our way in, I turned around and stuck my tongue out to the body guard. The man noticed my action and started laughing, I decided to look at the man who looked oddly familiar.
We finally got in the club, "thanks for saving me back there" I said while moving awkward so he would remove his hand. "It's no problem have a wonderful night" he said giving me a warm smile, I returned the smile back and turned to leave.
I've been in the club for close to an hour there was still no sign of Adrien, after my first thirty minute of searching I got tired and decided to stay at the bar. I've been drinking for the past thirty minutes, I knew I wasn't suppose to get drunk on the job but doesn't seem like he's going to show so why not have fun.
After taking one last shot, I got up and decided to explore the club. I mean the club was amazing this club was only meant for the rich I'm sure of that everything here was designed especially for the club. I decided to check the VIP lounge I knew I couldn't get in, so I just decided to walk past it and look around.
Getting to the VIP entrance, I couldn't see anything why? Well maybe because there was a freaking golden door blocking people from seeing it. This club just makes my work here more complicated, today was not a good day for me.
I decided to go back only to walk into someone, "hey again" he laughed. It was the same man from the club entrance, "hi" I said with a disappointment tone. He just looked at me weirdly, "you want to go in the VIP lounge" he said as I looked up at him with excitement in my eye he just giggled and led me to the VIP lounge and of course he was allowed in.
We got there and I stared in awe, I mean everything here was freaking gold except the couch which was black. I decided to look around and no sign of Adrien, I sighed heavily and we finally sat down. I just looked drained I was tired and a bit drunk and the entitled bastard I came here to meet was a no show.
"Hi again, I'm Lucas" he said while stretching his hand out, I immediately shook it back. "I'm Jess and sorry again for making you save me" I said giving him an apologetic look. "What makes you think I don't like saving you" he said with a hint of amusement in his voice, "maybe I guess" I sighed while looking down in disappointment.
"What's wrong?" He said while lifting my head up and before I knew it I started crying in his arms, he just held me like everything was going to be ok. "It's ok, I let you in because I knew why you were here" he said as I raised my head up wiped my tears. "How... did.....you know?" I said he didn't answer he just got to his feet and stretched his arm out for me to use as support while getting up.
