As she lay there, the warm and steady breathing of someone else filled her senses, a gentle hand caressing her hair in a repetitive motion.
Kamilia wasn't sure if she was in the midst of a dream or if reality was playing out before her.
Her eyes fluttered open, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings. Her heart raced as she realized she was not alone, a figure lying beside her, so close that she could feel their breath on her skin.
She couldn't believe what was happening. Had she really fallen asleep next to Iyad?
Closing her eyes tightly, she willed the image away, hoping that when she opened them again, the person next to her would have vanished. But as she tried three times in succession, the figure remained.
The morning light began to filter into the room and Kamilia's confusion grew as she took in her unfamiliar surroundings. She was not in her apartment, but in a luxurious house, with Iyad by her side.
The memories of the previous night came flooding back and she struggled to process the reality of the situation.
"Awakened," Iyad's whisper whispered in her ear, sending shivers throughout her body. He lifted his head and gazed down upon her, with a soft smile he whispered, "You slept so peacefully, like a baby."
Kamilia tried to gently push him away, his weight heavy upon her from sleeping next to her all night. Yet, he wouldn't budge, still staring into her eyes with a dark and enigmatic gaze, he murmured, "You can fall asleep so effortlessly."
Though he seemed pleased with her peaceful slumber, a hint of annoyance lingered in his tone.
"Oh, what time is it?" Kamilia murmured, as if suddenly jolted back to reality.
She attempted to rise from the bed, but Iyad's firm grip on her arm prevented her from doing so.
"What are you doing?" she asked, fear evident in her voice.
Iyad shook his head firmly, his dark, piercing eyes fixated on her.
"No, no, no," he said, his voice resolute.
"You are not leaving this house, Kamilia. You are not going anywhere."
Kamilia's heart raced with fear and confusion. She had to go to work, she couldn't afford to be late or absent. But Iyad's grip on her was like iron, keeping her firmly in place. She didn't know what to do or what was happening, but one thing was for certain - she was not leaving this house.
"What do you mean, I'm not leaving this house?" Kamilia asked, her voice trembling with fear.
Iyad's hold on her arms was strong, and she could feel his grip tighten as he looked down at her with his dark, mysterious eyes.
"I mean exactly what I said," he replied in a voice that was both calm and menacing. "You're not going anywhere. You're staying here, with me."
Kamilia's heart raced with fear and confusion. What was happening to her? Why was she being kept here against her will? She tried to reason with Iyad, but the words wouldn't come.
As she lay there, trapped in his grip, she felt a sense of hopelessness wash over her. She didn't know what Iyad had in store for her, but she feared the worst.
As Iyad released his hold on her and moved away, his voice was soft but firm as he spoke, "You are not going anywhere, Kamilia Biley. You will be living with me."
The use of her former name felt like a deliberate attempt to sever their connection, but Kamilia stood her ground. With a steady voice, she replied, "You know I don't go by that name anymore. I am Kamilia El-Mukrani."
The determination in her voice was unwavering, and it was clear she wouldn't let anyone, including Iyad, dictate who she was or how she lived her life.
Iyad's voice was filled with a tempest of emotions, his anger and disbelief evident in every syllable he spoke. Kamilia could feel his eyes burning into her, his gaze filled with a dark, malevolent energy.
She felt vulnerable and exposed, as if every ounce of her being was laid bare before him.
"You were simply an organ donor to them," he continued, his voice barely above a whisper. "Nothing more. I can't believe that you have been living all these years under my family name. This is ridiculous."
As Iyad spoke, Kamilia felt a flicker of fear dance in the pit of her stomach. She had always known that their relationship was complicated, but she had never imagined that Iyad would react in such a way.
" No, you're not , you are not a f***ing Mukrani , you are not a family member , you are not my sister , you are not my fuc****ing sister , are you sick or something ?…you seriously need help …oh …god ….you are not my fuc****ing sister and you know that " Iyad was in a deep anger , he was shouting at her as if he was going to hurt her then he leaned on top of her while his eyes were filled with evil .
He seemed to tower over her, his presence filling the room and making her feel small and helpless.
"You are being delusional, I will make sure to remove this from your head," he declared, his voice filled with a dark determination. With a sudden, swift movement, he leaned towards her, capturing her lips in a fierce kiss.
It was her first kiss ever and he just took it away from her so easily.
with force, as if he was trying to prove a point. Kamilia's eyes opened wide in shock and fear, she had never experienced anything like this before. She tried to push him away, but his weight was too much for her to handle. She felt a mixture of emotions, confusion, fear, and even a hint of curiosity.
Iyad pulled away and looked down at her, his eyes were filled with anger and frustration. He spoke in a stern voice, "You are not my fuc***ing sister !"
