Rachel stood up despite being exhausted and physically weakened by her spells and actions. Normally, other sorcerers would attack or run away at the sight of demons, but that was not the case for the Infernal Judgement. They had an affinity for demons and it was rare to hear that a demon had harmed any of them, except during battle.
"You're a clever one aren't you?" The being commended while trying to ease itself out of the position it was currently in. It's voice wasn't as demonic as she had expected. It was almost man like with scaly skin and and reddish black skin. Two immature horns stuck out of its head and it's eyes glowed bright red. It looked multi jointed, and could easily bend itself without fear of breaking any part of itself.
It was now free from the posture it appeared in, and now stood straight in front of her. It was taller and bigger in size too, almost reaching the same height as her twin brother.
Rachel ignored the creatures comments and went straight to the point. She already knew it was her hatred and anger that had driven the creature to dwell in her, so she didn't need answers for an obvious question.
She was going straight to the reason why she had summoned it and that was to make to her stronger. She knew doing this meant giving up her body for possession, and accepting every risk and downside of this contract. She was positive that this creature could do it. And if it would save her from the shame she was already bringing to her family name, then she would accept the offer without a second thought.
"I know what you want already" The demon spoke before she could say a word. "I was inside you" it reminded clearing her of the doubt and the surprise that had grown in her in that moment.
"So? Can you do it?" Rachel questioned, not wanting any further delay or prolonged talks on the matter. She was direct and she wanted the same energy from the creature. If it was incapable of granting her desire, then she would be sending it back to the abyss as fast as possible.
She paused and rethought her words and actions. She was being really desperate, and her desperation was making her act foolishly. She hadn't even asked this demon it's name and the downsides of it possessing her. She had been drunk with the desire to get stronger and live up to the expectations of her family, that she had forgotten the littlest things. She calmed herself down and tried to take things slowly this time.
"What are you? What's your name?" She repeated as she stared sternly into the creatures eyes. Her plan was to exert dominance. And make sure this demon knew she was in charge.
Rachel already knew how demon's could be, and how they preyed on people whom they felt were weaker than them. But she was Rachel Hardwood, and she wasn't one of those girls that would be easily stepped upon.
"Troltan" The being replied.
Rachel smiled inwardly at herself, with the way it replied she was almost certain that she had dominated the creature and was in full control. It was easy for her because this demon was a weak one. It probably because of its lack of strength that it preyed on her when she was most vulnerable.
But now that she was back to herself, playtime was over. It was time for her to take the wheels. If it had been a stronger and more manipulative demon, then she couldn't even imagine where she would have been by now, and what she could have done. She felt relieved that what had possessed her wasn't even close to being a strong demon.
"Troltan" Rachel pronounced with the softest and kindest voice she could muster. Her tone made her appear cruel and deceptive rather than Charming and sweet. "Can you offer me what I desire?" She asked the being who only stood watching her, and occasionally playing with it's scales. It was weird, but she didn't really care. This was her ticket to ending the disappointed looks she always got. And she wasn't going to let it slip no matter the size.
Troltan eyed the human in front of him. This human was desperate. Did she not know that desperation feeds his kind? He was aware that he wasn't as powerful as the other demons, but that was only because he was still a young demon.
He had only managed to grow this much because of her hate and rage. He had tried pushing her into committing a greater evil so that he might grow stronger. But she had fought back and won. She could easily send him back to hell if she wanted to, and that was why he was being careful and cautious with her.
Troltan already knew how volatile human emotions could be, just from the past months he had stayed within her. The volatility of her emotion was what had made it possible for her to separate him from her. He was pure evil, and when she had suddenly switched emotions, his hold over her had weakened greatly. This made it possible for her to separate him from her without being a proper exorcist.
She was intelligent and had potential. If he had a body with these features, Troltan was positive he would definitely grow in no due time.
"Yes I can" he replied with a faint smile on his face. Her dominance would only be for this moment, once he repossessed her, then there was no letting go.
Rachel could almost read through this being. From the little smile that had grown on its face, she could tell it was already planning something once she allowed it back in. But she was already prepared for every possible scenario. There was no way she was losing this battle, not with the preparations she came with.
She slit open her palm and allowed her blood to drop to the floor while mustering some spells. This was a contract spell. She was making her possession official, and at the same time making this creature her familiar.
She knew that demons can grow in power depending on how strong one's emotions were. Demons also grew stronger depending on their host. She already knew they were compatible. All that was left was to feed her.
Rachel planned on nurturing this demon till it was strong enough. She was binding the creature to herself and was keeping it under her control. With this spell, it wouldn't be able to go against her wishes, at least not with it's current strength.
Troltan knew this was a contract spell, but for some reason he felt odd about it. It was almost as if something was being written and bound in him, and he couldn't stop it. By the time he had realized, it was already late.
He had been outsmarted and had been enslaved. She was definitely much more smarter than he thought and she had read through him like glass. He was slowly fading and re-entering her body as the spell commanded. But he couldn't feel his freedom any longer. He had been bound by this girl and he didn't have enough power to break out of her clutches.

Richard felt a strange presence in the house and it was exactly like the one he felt from his sister earlier. He was now certain that there was definitely something going on with her. He immediately raced up to her room as fast as he could, but when he reached she was alone. And there was no trace of the presence he had sensed. He felt completely stupid for his actions, but had covered up his suspicious behavior by informing her about dinner.
Rachel heaved a sign of relief immediately her twin brother left. She hadn't expected anybody to notice the demon's presence. She knew Richard had already sensed Troltan before, and that was only because her hate had amplified his powers and presence.
But while detached from her, the creature barely had any presence at all. And that was why she didn't bother telling it to suppress itself, because there was absolutely no need for it. For Richard to be able to sense him even with such little presence meant that he had definitely gotten stronger, and had surpassed everyone in their family at the moment. He had definitely surpassed their mother by now, since she couldn't even sense Troltan. Richard was rapidly growing and there was no denying it.
She felt jealous and envious of his growth and promised herself to do better. With her new pet, she was definitely going to do better than she was doing now! And she wasn't going to stop until she was sure she was better than Richard was.
