Seph scratched her head at Edol's query, looking a bit embarrassed.
"I do know a bit about spellcrafting, but Tori would be the person to ask. She's probably one of the best mages in the whole city!"
'Tori is the party's spellcrafter?! Even Will seems like more of an intellectual, and he's just looked terrified this entire time!'
Edol cast a glance to the corner of the room, where Tori was helping Will put away the backpacks they'd brought back with them after their stay in prison. After leaving, the younger boy had fallen to the back of the group, not saying even a single word to Edol on their walk to the house.
Overhearing part of the conversation, Tori perked her head up.
"Did you say you wanted to learn spellcrafting? Tough luck, bro. You seem pretty cool, but I'm not giving away trade secrets for free. You've gotta prove yourself first."
Seeing the disappointment on Edol's face, Tori continued speaking.
