It didn't take more than a few minutes for Pierre and Edol to reach the location of the team's main info broker. Located at a small cafe overlooking a larger street, the open setup of the building provided nice views for any customers.
The windows of the cafe weren't glass- most glass was too stained to use for windows. Perfectly clear glass was insanely expensive and scarce, preventing it from being widely used.
Instead, the windows were empty. Sturdy wooden shutters could be pulled shut at any time, blocking out the elements and even keeping warm air in during the winters.
On a nice morning like this, though, the shutters were rolled back, allowing the warm morning air to drift in.
