The man backed off, observing the collapsed ball of feathers on the floor.
"You got a pet bird? Ah, never mind. Did you discover anything about your father? What's going on?"
Willow scooped Ghost back up into her arms, glaring at the man.
"Mister Tony, what are you doing? Why are you hiding here, making me crawl through dark tunnels just to meet with you?!"
The clothes salesman's eyes darted around for a moment before refocusing on Willow, and he spoke with a shaking voice.
"I-it wasn't just your dad that disappeared. None of the messages I sent to my own family members have been returned… and only one person among their close partners sent a response."
Tony turned around, speed walking to where a wooden desk was situated in the corner of the room. The man yanked a drawer open and began rifling through it, searching for a letter.
"This! Look!"
