"She's perfect." He smirks. As his head was filled with nothing more but the white-haired girl who dared spill smoothie on him, and was soon going to be his new plaything... He was going to make sure of it.
Sitting by the edge of the window, in just his pants and shoes, he went through her bio. He had asked the manager to get it for him, and the woman could only begin to imagine what he was going to do to the poor girl.
According to the document in his hand, her name was Erina, 'Pretty unique name' he thought in his head. Erina Barret, and she was twenty-three, she was still in school, and was an education major.
*Knock*Knock*
"Come in." He simply says, and he couldn't see it, but on the other side of the door, she took deep, deep breaths before turning the door knob open.
Oh, Lords! She paused, as this was more than her heart could imbibe. This was a really, perfect picture, a picture of an enticing Adonis.
The light from the window shined on his perfectly toned chest and abs, and those arms that held her just some moments ago... Now that she was looking at them without clothes, she could see how firm they actually were, could see the veins like vines on a sturdy tree branch, and she swallowed.
Glistening balls of water hung at the tips of his hair, and dropped onto his massive shoulder blades, and oh, she had an enormous thing for men with stunning aesthetics.
She knew it was wrong, Roxy told her this all the time, telling her this was the reason she ended up dating jerks, but she could never help becoming completely foolish when standing in front of a man like this.
Especially when he had the body build of a god. Her previous boyfriends had nothing on this man.
"Like what you see... I know," he pushed himself up from the window edge and strolled towards her, and she knew she was supposed to snap out of her head, she was supposed to wake up, but damn these wakening desires.
"But would you try and not show it?" he was standing right in front of her, and her eyes were at his chest, completely overwhelmed in his scent. A drop of water trickled down his chest, and she gulped...
She'd never felt this much sexual tension just from looking at a man before, but... He places a finger under her chin, and he could swear he felt a spark, as his hand touched her skin... literally. He shifts her eyes to meet his, causing her neck to crane completely backwards.
"Aren't you gonna hand those to me?" his voice was sounding deeper and deeper the more he spoke. "Miss Barret..." And as if her last name was a wake up pill, she was instantly pumped back to reality, and abruptly, she takes sharp steps back, away from the man.
"I_ I_ I'm so sorry sir." she falters, immediately lowering her head and lashes, as now her senses were back. He was the boss of her boss, she wasn't supposed to look him directly in the eye like a fool.
" I'm sorry about what happened in the lobby, I didn't mean to make you dirty, I wasn't in my right senses, I wasn't looking. I'm really sorry sir." She said in a rap.
"The clothes." He simply says with his hands stretched out. "OH," She gasped, as she hands them over to him inwardly slapping herself in the head for being absent-minded today.
But then she sees her face on the document on the table, and then her name, her eyes went wider as she realized it was her resume he was just reading. I just got this job, I'm losing it so soon... She thought in her head as she turned to walk out of the room.
"Is that your real hair?" She was suddenly halted by his abrupt question, and she turned to see him now sitting on the edge of the couch drying off the last drops of water in his hair with a towel... Oh, gods of all the Adonis in this world, which of you crafted this ungodly man... She wanted to scream out, he was really breathtaking.
"Is it?" he asks again.
"Y_Y_Yes sir." She stutters, and every action she made, increased the grin on his face by centimeters. 'She is cute.'
"You were born with silver-white hair?" he further inquires as he slips his shirt on.
She had no idea why he was curious about her hair when he was going to fire her. Well, people were always curious about her hair, so in this aspect, he was one of many.
"Yes sir." She manages to answer without a stutter this time.
"Fascinating." He chuckles, and oh, could a man with such demonic aura have such an angelic laugh, the sound was soft and pleasant.
"You know, according to some of the fairy-tales I was told as a kid, only special fairies are born with silver-white hair." He raises a brow at her, as if asking her a question as he slipped his waistcoat on.
She seemed to read his unasked teasing question, so she replies... "I guess I'm a fairy... a special one." She chortles as she spoke... Most people always asked if it was a medical condition, asking if she was dying, others thought she was an albino.
But a fairy, a special one at that... this was a first, and it made her chuckle... mm-hmm... She cleared her throat out loud as he stared at her with an expressionless face.
'She's really cute'... He thinks again.
"Can you fix a tie?" he asks, pointing the black necktie at her, and she brought her palms together at her stomach level, picking at her fingers as she looked from his stretched out arm to his face, before nodding a slow yes.
Cautiously, she took unsure steps towards him, and thank God he was sitting, even though he was still a head taller than her as he sat, but it was way better than him standing.
She takes the tie from him, standing between his legs, she gulped as she tried her best not to look into his entrapping eyes. But damn, it was so distracting.
She stood so close to his face, and now he could study her up close, really close. From her white hair that was packed in a perfect bun, to the cute curly bangs that stopped right above her brows.
And then her fluttering white lashes, that played over her gradient grey eyes, over to her not so pointed nose, her round flushed cheeks that seemed to beg him to take a bite, to her crimson red lips. She was beautiful in a very unique way and adorable like a cute little Maltese.
"You have exquisite grey eyes." He compliments as she crossed in the final knot for the tie, and her lashes rose, and she looked up at him, but looks away almost instantaneously. "they almost look unnatural," She could feel his breath on her face as she held on to his tie, "like the eyes of a doll."
Is he flirting with me?? She wondered.
Mm-hmm... She cleared her throat aloud to knock her senses back in place. "T_Thank you sir." she stutters out the words as she puts the final touch to the tie. "B_But it's not as unnatural as your Malachite eyes sir, I've never seen anything like it." She sincerely says, and to her surprise and enchantment, his smirk grew into a smile.
She could say that was the most genuine expression she'd seen since the minute she met him till now.
He suddenly leans into her face, almost breaching the holy space that kept their noses apart, as he looked her in the eyes... "You really are one fascinating little Maltese..." He croons over her face
"You're the first one to ever get it right... That my eyes are malachite, and not emerald green... Little Maltese."
