Lyria was left alone and this time she tried to get up by herself. Her legs were still weak and a little shaky but at least they felt better now.
Lyria took her time walking to her workspace. Every step was slow and steady.
When Lyria entered her most precious area, she was horrified to see her plants weren't taken care of. She has even more work to do than she thought. Since she had to take it easy due to her injuries it took a lot longer to water, trim and give sunlight to her plants.
By the time Koda came back, Lyria had just sat down to rest from her workload. Because the plants needed some much work, she wouldn't be able to cultivate anything for a while.
Koda quickly made breakfast for the little kitten and went to find her to serve her food. Koda walked in on Lyria watching the flowers slowly bloom with new life.
He ate his food and placed Lyria's down next to her.
"Even though they've been mistreated for the past week, to watch them spring back to life with only a little bit of love and care is truly fascinating." Lyria shares her thoughts out loud. She also starts to eat without realizing it.
She can be a mindless gluten at times.
Koda smiles at the little beauty stroking the flowers. "I've brought the rocks you asked for." He interrupts her focus, bringing her attention to him.
She sees a sack in Koda's hand. "You can put them on the table with the other rocks." She points to a table he didn't notice before and walks over to it. There were odd tools and other rocks there. What is she going to do with rocks?
"What are you doing with these rocks?" Koda couldn't help but ask.
"I'm going to make hair pieces for everyone." Lyria simply utters.
"Won't rocks be too heavy? What kind of hairpiece are you making?"
"Yes, but one or two when I grind them down some shouldn't be too much of a problem. I'll also add a special wood carving. All of these will be held together with a piece of my hair so they can have a part of me with them. This will make the perfect token and a nice decoration that will make their beauty stand out."
"Will I be getting one?" Koda playfully inquires.
"We'll see how good of a helper you are these next couple of days," Lyria replies mischievously.
Koda walks up to Lyria with a seductive smirk. He leans over her and gets close enough that their breaths mingle. "Do you think I'll do anything you say for free?"
He had a dominating look in his eyes, and she wanted to see more.
"I could just let you keep a couple of the rocks." She challenged him. Twirling one of the rocks in hand.
"You do realize you're here alone with me and in a vulnerable state. Don't push it kitten." With that he walks away into the main area while grabbing the now empty plate, leaving Lyria there alone.
Lyria's face was bright red and her heart felt like it was going to beat right out of her chest. What was that?
Lyria walked over to the table with the rocks and got to work.
Koda was having difficulties calming himself down as well.
'I'm going to have some serious problems if my body keeps acting up this way.'
"I'm going out to catch some prey. I'll be back in a little while." Koda yelled out so he didn't have to face Lyria.
"Okay, let me know when the food is done," Lyria answered back.
