One hour later.
Finally, I made up my plan in my head. I will walk from here to the academy. If I find a wagon going through the path, I will take help from them.
I walked out of the inn after taking my belongings from my room and exited the city. When I left town, the guards were worried I would go alone because I was the son of a baron. They warned me about thieves and monsters that might appear on the path.
Keeping their warnings in my mind, I started to walk towards the next forest. If I hear a noise while walking, I will hide behind a tree or bush and wait for two minutes. I don't want bandits to attack me since the range of my skill is not so great. Also, there's the threat of monsters.
One and half hours later.
It was really difficult for me to walk. I had practiced running back when I was training myself to become a knight but right now, it feels so hard.
I'm not even halfway through the road to the academy yet. I am very short of breath right now. Also, when I run, my stomach hurts but I can't rest right now. At the pace in which I am going, I am pretty sure it may take four days for me to reach the Academy.
The Academy will start in two days. I need to find a carriage so I can reach the Academy before the selections which will happen in three days.
I heard a carriage approaching, as if God had heard my call. When I turned around, I saw a carriage approaching at breakneck speed. I looked closely to see three mountain wolves chasing the carriage.
They are [G] Rank Monsters and usually stay deep inside the forests hunting for other smaller prey. Their normal skill is [Bleed].
"Status." I said.
In this world, just by saying 'status', you can easily see the information of all monsters and their skills. It only shows the information of monsters and skills, you have learned about.

I could deal with the three wolves without any problem.
"WAIT! STOP! I CAN HANDLE THEM BUT YOU JUS-"
I signaled them to stop, but they continued on. Instead of chasing the carriage, the wolves stopped and turned to me.
"Problems after problems. But, I may as well enjoy this." I said as I took out my sword from its scaffold.

Set Target: Neck
I chose the 'Set Target: Neck' and got in my battle stance. The wolves were circling around me like hungry predators.
"Krrrr....." The wolves showed their blood-thirsty teeth towards me.
I stomped on the ground and ran at my fastest speed toward the wolf. I raised my blade and was about to attack it. The wolf which I was aiming for, backed off. The other two wolves saw an opportunity in front of them and attacked me from behind.
My hand with the raised blade turned towards the closest wolf and cut off its head.
Swoosh!
With one swing of my sword, the wolf had his neck cut down. It rolled to the middle of the path with its dead white eyes.
Thud!
The wolf's body fell to the ground, and a spring of blue blood erupted from where its head had been.
The second wolf, seeing that his friend was killed, turned and tried to run away. I threw my sword down and took the knife I received from the thief out of my pocket and threw it at the wolf. It hit the wolf's b*tt. The wolf howled with pain but finally gained the speed to run out of my range.
At this point of the fight, the third wolf had already ran inside the forest. It's sad that I can't get knife back anymore. Anyways, it would be all dirty if I get it back.
I picked up the sword from the ground and put it back in the scaffold with style.
