Reef didn't like the fact that Nathan Wilford had rented the hotel for Kylie. He also got more upset after being told that Nathan picked Kylie up from the airport. Reef scowled and said that Bella shouldn't have involved Nathan.
"I didn't know you were friends with him anyway. I didn't think you were that close to him."
Although she was curious about the reason for Reef's dislike, Bella did not reply. She just shrugged with a faint smile. She didn't want the topic to get any longer, for fear that she would get upset and end up telling Reef why she was forced to always deal with Nathan Wilford.
Kylie, on the other hand, didn't mind Nathan being involved with her coming to town. Her cheerful disposition made her heart light as cotton in response to anything. She chuckled as Reef rolled his eyes when Bella said that Nathan had booked a room at The Mercer Hotel and Kylie squealed with delight.
"What are you so excited about?" asked Reef.
