Lady Rebecca's perspective;
"Wait," I said, even though I knew she wouldn't understand, taking the risk that I could stop her from leaving me in the room.
Without clearing my name from her perspective. I didn't mean to hurt her; it's a big misunderstanding.
So I sat on the floor and took the handkerchief that I had dropped when I stood up earlier when I approached her. The dress that I was wearing caused a balloon effect if you watched from afar. Maybe I'm looking like a woman sitting on a big rosebud on the floor.
When I looked in her direction, I was relieved that she stayed, but I was worried when I saw her coming, as I noticed something red in her nose.
So, when she managed to get near me, I quickly used my handkerchief to clean her face from the blood. She flinched upon contact and pulled her face away from me, but I was pulling her face back to me, and I noticed how she stared at me again .
I felt guilty, but I am not going to apologize to her.
'You just don't know how' says the voice in my head,
There's something strange about her, and those eyes-she has the most expressive brown eyes and one of the most beautiful faces I've seen in this place so far, but I'm still more beautiful than her, no doubt about it. Something about her piques my interest. I recognize her as one of the food servers in this mansion based on the way she stares at me, her actions whenever we are about to interact, and her eyes that seem to be talking to me. She always looked at me as if she knew who I was, but I'm sure we hadn't met before, so I'm curious what she's up to.I was cleaning her, and I noticed her face was full of sweat.
"Are you alright? You are sweating." I asked her, but she was just staring at me.
I was checking her temperature, and she turned red.
She was cold, and I held her hands. She's trembling, and I am beginning to worry about what's happening to her .
"You are so cold, your hands too; why are you shaking?" She pulled her hands away from me. I was shocked by what she just did Is she afraid of me?
''okay.'' I just said that, and I let her. I lifted my face and leveled my shoulders with her. I didn't realize how close we were; I could even smell her breath in my face. I frowned when I noticed her staring at my face. It's embarrassing to admit, but somehow it has an effect on me.
I cleared my throat and decided to say something to clear this invisible tension:
''You must be thankful I am cleaning your dirty face; it's not my fault, it's just that." I paused and looked at her again. God, she's so attractive. I'm trying hard not to show her how her stares affect me. I paused again when her eyes traveled from my eyes to my lips while I was talking. I know she's not understanding my language, but damn, this is not good . '' You are so weird." The servant's brows raised when I said that I didn't mean it, but my voice came out a little different when I said that while looking at her. Why is my voice husky ? She look so damn cute in confuse face so I smiled at her to let her know I am not that bad at all.;
"Oh, my god, servant!"

The voice of the woman who spoke astonished me. I looked around, but my vision was still hazy, so I massaged it to see who was sitting on the edge of the bed, facing me. I blinked several times to remove the haze from my vision.
"Miss Nam, Where am I?" I cautiously sat up after asking the person perched on the bed's edge. Because of the pain it was causing, I felt my head.
''You are here at the clinic, Lady Rebecca.''
"Clinic?" I asked, repeating what Miss Nam had said.
''Yes, Lady Rebecca, you are at a clinic,'' Miss Nam clarified, making me understand that what I had heard was correct.
''What exactly am I doing here? "What am I doing here?" I wondered.
''That's exactly what Lord Armstrong wants to know,'' my eyes widened as I heard this.
''Father? Is Father already aware?" I reiterated what she had stated.
I could hear familiar footsteps approaching the room, along with the sound of his baton beating on the floor and his footfall.
''It's good that you're awake.'' My whole body went cold when I heard that baritone voice.
''Father,'' I said only when he was totally in front of the bed with his baton. With a solemn expression on his face, he looked down at me.
My father turned to the guards who had entered the room with him and motioned for them to leave, which they did.
Miss Nam, meanwhile, stood by the side of my bed. So he fixed his gaze on Miss Nam.''Lord Roderick,'' Miss Nam said, bowing.
''Could you perhaps explain what happened here?'' Father inquired of Miss Nam, knowing that I was the one he desired to hear.
''She fell to the floor, Lord Roderick,'' Miss Nam said to my father.
"Father, I assure you that it was merely a minor accident. I understand your concern, but please don't worry. I'll take care of everything and make sure it doesn't happen again. You can trust me. "Nothing serious; you don't have to leave your office work as an ambassador of our country just for my stupidity." I reassure him.
"However, you should at the very least seek George's assistance. You and he are getting married soon. You should at least try to be civil to him." When I heard that man's name, my brow furrowed.
I sighed deeply and angrily, not caring about my appearance in front of my father; it only made me angry about agreeing to marry a man I barely knew. I feel like my parents are selling me, which is difficult to believe because my parents are the most important people in my life.
He motioned for Miss Nam to leave us alone in the room.
I sat up when he turned his face to me .
"Honey, my precious daughter, haven't we already discussed this? "I know you have your own beliefs and opinions, but I hope you can understand that we only want what's best for you and your future," he said as he sat on the floor in front of me and held my hand. I nodded, feeling bad about disappointing him yet again. But I couldn't help myself; my beliefs were incompatible with theirs, and I couldn't pretend otherwise.
Although I appreciated his concern, I knew that I had to stay true to who I am and what I believe in. Though it was a challenging choice, in the end, I knew it was the best one for me and my future.
I need to find a way to express my feelings and concerns to my family and the people involved in the wedding planning process because I still don't know how to persuade them before this stupid wedding takes place. I don't want to marry someone I barely knew, and what's worse, it's a political decision.
I understand that it is imperative for me to stand up for myself and take the course of action that feels right to me, even though it might not be easy.
I would have tried to negotiate and find a better solution that benefits both parties involved if I had known they were doing this to gain trust and build a solid foundation of alliance between our families. However, I need to devise a strategy quickly before it's too late and I'm forced into a marriage that could ruin my future.
''I am aware of your thoughts, Rebecca. Rebecca, you are my daughter, and I know you. I gave you life. I am aware that your current thought is not a good one. Although I am aware of your way of thinking, you are old enough now to entertain fantasies. '' What he said kind of hurt me inside. Is that really what it should be? This is the main reason that you already have to get married in order to have a purpose in life, which is to serve your husband. '' Why then do I feel that it is not my life's purpose?
"Stop worrying about the future; that is the job of a man in your life, and George is an ideal match for you to marry. I am your father; have I ever disappointed you before, Rebecca? "Did he really not let me down?
''Everyone would kill for a position that you are in now being chosen as bride of the prime ministers son''
"Pumpkin, don't you believe me? I am your father, and I will not lead you astray. Since you were a child, your grandmother had taught you this. You must recognize that this is a reality; this is how our life cycle in this world develops, and can you imagine yourself alone in the future? "You will thank me for doing this for you sooner or later," my father continues.
I looked intently into my father's eyes, and he showed me his most beautiful smile. There he got me, my shoulders slumping, and I sighed deeply. I absentmindedly nodded, agreeing again with what he said was best for me.
He is my father anyway; what could go wrong?
And I finally smiled back at him.
He stood up content, but before he finally got out of the room ,
''I have to go now; I still have to punish a certain servant who did this to you.'' What he said made me jump off my bed in shock. I had no idea what he was talking about. Was someone going to get hurt because of me? I suddenly felt guilty and worried.
I stayed in my bed for a few seconds before I decided to call Miss Nam.
''Yes, Lady Rebecca, what can I do for you?'' Miss Nam seems not to be in the mood as she talks to me, but I choose to ignore it.
''Where is my new personal maid?'' I ask cautiously, and I notice it kind of puts some of her expression into a different aura.
''Your father just told me, as I heard it clearly outside your room, Lady Rebecca," she said, not looking at me.
''What do you mean?'' I ask confuse.
''She is being punish.'' I am getting annoyed of Miss Nam's short answers.
''For what? what did she do?'' I ask again.
''For the damage you she caused you ,lady Rebecca ..''
I don't know what has gotten into me. I quickly got off the bed and ran out of the room as soon as I confirmed what I just heard.
''Lady Rebecca, wait for me. Where are we going?'' Miss Nam asked while keeping up with me.
''Saving an idiot" is my only answer.
