Ray'ven stared down blankly at the shackles on her wrist as the guards tugged the chain and led her forward through the halls. She supposed that she must have been in shock with how utterly numb she was feeling at the moment. No pain, no hatred, no anger. Just nothing, she felt hollow and empty inside.
One of the guards yanked the chain too hard causing her to trip and fall to her knees before snickering. "Up with you bastard. King Bynx wants you delivered to your new home as soon as possible." He ordered, pulling on the chain again.
Ray'ven pushed herself to her feet silently and the guard scoffed at her lack of reaction. "Not so noble now are you?" He asked before his partner nudged him.
"Come on, leave her alone." The other said and they began walking again. It wasn't until someone called out her name did they pause once more.
