Veronica tiptoed outside the manager's office, her ear pressed firmly against the door, straining to catch every word. Inside, Thelma's voice, laced with anger, filled the room.
"That damn Jason Timberlake just won't budge! He refuses to do any interviews", Thelma exclaimed, frustration evident in her tone. "He even threatened to have us arrested if we keep bothering him".
The manager, sounding calm and composed, responded, "I know, Thelma, I understand your frustration, but Jason's a tough nut to crack. We need even if it's just a paragraph about his personal life to boost our sales!". He sighed, massaging his forehead.
Thelma huffed, clearly unimpressed. "I can't believe he actually threatened to throw us in jail. That's way out of line, even for him!". She rolled her eyes in annoyance. If she were a celebrity, she'd love to show up on television and newspapers as much as possible.
