On the following day, which was a Tuesday, Veronica showed up at work, going about her daily routine like any other employee. Her job was as ordinary as it gets, nothing exciting or thrilling. She went through documents, sent emails, and dealt with piles of paperwork that never seemed to shrink since she also had the pile accumulated from the lady she replaced.
Why did she feel like some other staff had even added their own junk to her pile without her notice? But she had something else on her mind, something far more important than her wretched 9-to-5.
It was a bit ironic, during childhood, kids would think they could get rich and end up with a fat sum in their account as long as they were working a job.
