Warning: This isn't a chapter just some details I couldn't insert in the novel without it becoming an Info dump.
First off, The Hydra's (MC) power is basically having access to 'Chaos' the concept, Like the one that birthed all the primordial gods. As a concept, Chaos mainly just influences the world indirectly, like restoring the world to balance after near annihilation or destroying it when there are too many harmful existences on it all via the forces of the world. Example, demons go haywire, invade the realm of Earth. Now this would break the 'balance' or the equilibrium or peace and war, good and evil. Both sides must be equal however that can be. Now, demons invading Earth would be bad because the scale would tip directly onto one side and everything would end. This is where Chaos comes in, in this situation, Chaos would influence one of the demon leaders, to turn on themselves. Which in turn, would give the 'good' side a chance to tip the scales and regain balance. This would go for both sides. Essentially a cycle that is important for the continued existence of everything. Now, I am aware the world is not Black and White, and this is where Chaos comes in and becomes the grey.
Now, what the hydra is doing is harnessing the concept of Chaos via energy that exists between the folds of reality, and manifesting it in various ways. Like making attacks be completely undecipherable and incomprehensible, in other words, others wont be able to dodge and only block. It can also manifest in the surrounding area, making the laws of reality go haywire, invert, become null in a small scale manner, for now.
The reason they can do this is because the Hydra was born from the Chaos, directly. In turn, making them a child and will of chaos. In other words a primordial. Now, each primordial has a purpose, and unfortunately, this hydra was not born as a separate entity, but an extension of Chaos' will. In other words, a creature that can bring Chaos directly into the world, not just a passive force that appears sometimes.
Also Gods and Titans use divine energy or mana, and other dieties or creatures will use the energy that's appropriate to them.
