After Jameson's and Levi's successful Mana Heart awakenings, it was now Mark's turn. Mark was a close friend of Levi, and they had always trained together, pushing each other to be the best they could be.
As Mark approached the Mana Sphere, he took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves. He knew that he had big shoes to fill after Jameson and Levi's impressive performances.
Levi watched with a smile on his face as Mark began his awakening. He could see the nerves in his friend's eyes, but he also knew how skilled Mark was. "Mark, don't be nervous. I believe that you will do good," Levi said, encouragingly.
Mark looked over at Levi and felt a wave of gratitude wash over him. His friend's words gave him the confidence he needed to focus his mana and complete his awakening. The sphere began to glow as Mark awakened, but the color in it directly shocked everybody.
The Mana Sphere glowed in two different colors. Even though it was not as bright as Levi and Jameson's, the fact that there were two colors, brown and blue, was unprecedented. The students were taken aback, as they had never seen an awakening with two different elements before.
Levi was thrilled for his friend, clapping and cheering him on. "That's amazing, Mark! You did it!" he exclaimed, genuinely impressed by his friend's achievement.
The professor, who had been observing the awakening, looked surprised and intrigued. "This is quite unusual," he said, studying the sphere's colors intently. "Brown typically represents earth, while blue is commonly associated with water. It seems that Mark has awakened a Mana Heart with two different elements."
Jameson, who had been watching with a scowl on his face, couldn't resist making a snide comment. "Looks like Mark couldn't even decide which element he wanted. Typical," he muttered, trying to downplay Mark's accomplishment.
Levi shot Jameson a glare, not appreciating his mocking tone. "Don't listen to him, Mark. This is incredible," he said, putting a hand on his friend's shoulder. "You're the first one to awaken with two elements. Imagine the possibilities!"
Mark smiled, feeling grateful for his friend's support. He had always admired Levi's positivity and encouragement, and it was no different now. "Thanks, Levi. I couldn't have done it without you," he said, looking at his friend with gratitude.
The other students started to murmur amongst themselves, discussing what this new discovery meant for their own Mana Heart awakenings. They had always thought that each person could only awaken one element, but now it seemed that anything was possible.
The professor, still deep in thought, spoke up again. "There is indeed a case that someone can awaken two elements, but it is rare. I can't believe that you have awakened it, Mark. But you need to know that awakening two different elements means stronger power but also more hardship to learn it."
Mark's excitement faded a bit as he heard the professor's cautionary words. He knew that he had a lot of hard work ahead of him to master both elements, but he was determined to rise to the challenge. "I understand, professor. I'll work hard to learn both," he said, his voice filled with determination.
Levi nodded, his own excitement still palpable. "I have no doubt that you'll master both, Mark. You're incredibly talented," he said, giving his friend another encouraging pat on the back.
Jameson rolled his eyes at the exchange, clearly not impressed by Mark's accomplishment. "Well, it doesn't matter if he has two elements if he can't even control them," he said, sneering at Mark.
Levi bristled at Jameson's comment, but Mark simply smiled confidently. "I'll prove you wrong, Jameson. Just watch me," he said, standing a little taller.
The professor stepped forward, clapping his hands to get the students' attention. "Well, this has certainly been a remarkable awakening. I'm eager to see how you all will develop your skills in the coming months. Remember, awakening your Mana Heart is just the first step. The true journey begins now," he said, his tone serious but encouraging.
The students nodded, taking in the professor's words. They knew that they had a long way to go, but they were eager to take the first steps on their path to mastering their Mana Hearts.
Mark, still feeling a rush of excitement from his awakening, couldn't wait to start training. He knew that he had a lot of work to do, but he was ready to take on the challenge.
After Mark's successful awakening with two elements, the other students followed suit and awakened their own Mana Hearts with a single element each. There was nothing special or out of the ordinary with their awakenings, and soon the ceremony was over.
As the ceremony came to an end, Professor Lumin stepped forward to address the students. He cleared his throat and began to speak in a clear and authoritative voice.
"Congratulations, students, on your successful awakenings. You have taken the first step on a journey that will lead you to great power and potential."
The professor paused, surveying the group of students before him. They looked excited and eager, but he knew that they still had much to learn.
"Your Mana Hearts are not simply tools to be used for your own gain. They are powerful sources of energy that can be used to benefit or harm others. It is up to you to choose how you will use that power."
He took a step closer to the students, his gaze intense. "Remember that your actions have consequences, both for yourself and for those around you. Use your Mana Hearts wisely and with care. Seek to help others rather than to harm them, and you will find that your power grows in ways that you never thought possible."
The students nodded, taking in the professor's words. They knew that their Mana Hearts were not just toys to be played with, but powerful tools that required responsibility and discipline.
"Furthermore, remember that with great power comes great danger. Your enemies will seek to use your power against you, and you must be prepared to defend yourselves. Train hard, practice often, and always be vigilant. Your safety and the safety of those around you depend on it."
The professor paused again, his eyes scanning the crowd. "Finally, I want to remind you that you are not alone. You have each other, and you have the support of this academy. We are here to help you in your journey, to guide you, and to teach you. Do not hesitate to seek our aid when you need it."
He let out a small sigh, his eyes softening. "You are all talented and capable students. I have no doubt that you will do great things with your Mana Hearts. But always remember that your true strength lies not just in your power, but in your character. Be brave, be kind, and be true to yourselves. That is what will make you truly great."
With those final words, Professor Lumin stepped back and gave a small nod to the students. The ceremony was over, but the journey was just beginning. The students looked at each other, feeling both excited and intimidated by the responsibility that lay ahead. But they knew that they were ready to face it, together.
