Susan walked into the house and announced Molly's arrival at the country. She thought she was the only one who had forgotten but it seemed even Selma had lost track of the changing season.
She ordered the guest room to be cleaned up immediately and turned to Susan.
"I need to cook something really nice. What time will she be here?" She asked with a pleased expression.
"She said she'll be here in about forty minutes but I doubt that. The traffic this days are hell." Susan said and followed her mom to the kitchen. "We should have just about enough time to cook up a feast!" She chuckled.
After an hour and a half, the food was ready but there was no sign of Molly. The meal's tasty aroma filled the air of not only the kitchen but the living room as well.
Lucas who had acted like he didn't care noticed this and didn't want to go unnoticed. He cleared his throat.
