Susan looked at the bracelet around her wrist.
"This? Mom gave it to me before my engagement." She looked up at Molly. "She said it was some goodluck charm. Why?" Molly was silent for a moment then suddenly smiled.
"Wow, that bracelet is so cute and stylish. It just caught my eyes." She said but that smile didn't hold out for long. "Anyway, I'll be downstairs. See you in ten minutes!" With that, she left.
Susan stared at the door feeling perplexed. Once again, she felt Molly was acting weird but she couldn't point out what aspect it was so she brushed it aside and got changed.
Few minutes later, she joined Molly downstairs with a coat hanging on her hooked arm.
"I'm ready!" She announced and Molly nodded. "Let's go!" They waved at Selma as they left and took a cab.
Their first stop was the movies, after which, they strolled down the streets chattering away while heading to their favorite cafe joint.
