Dante sat up straight and acted like he didn't care.
Susan didn't know if he was just pretending or that he actually didn't care.
"I don't really care about what they say but they shouldn't say it to my hearing. Else, I'll really be the cold-blooded monster." Dante threatened.
"No, you wont!" Susan said with a smile beaming on her face. "You're not as cold-blooded as they say. You just... Feel shy about receiving affection that you subconsciously ignore it. You're not that bad!" He blushed and looked away.
"I know you're just saying that to make me feel better!" He said. "You don't know how I was ain the past!"
"The past!" She thought back to what she remembered. "Maybe you were a little too hot headed, maybe you were fierce or maybe... " She drew closer to him. "...you were just in your rebellious phase as a vampire!" She drew back and smiled. "Everyone passes through that stage once in their life, am I right?"
