The next day, I woke up with a strange feeling in my stomach. I wasn't sure what it was, but I knew it had something to do with Leo. I wanted to see him again, to find out what was really going on between us.
But as the day wore on, I began to feel more and more anxious. What if he didn't show up? What if he had decided that he didn't want to see me anymore?
I tried to focus on other things. I went shopping with my sister, watched a movie with my parents. But no matter what I did, I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong.
Finally, around dinnertime, I heard a knock on the door. I ran to answer it, my heart pounding in my chest.
It was Leo, of course. He stood there, looking as handsome as ever, with a bouquet of flowers in his hand.
"Hey, Aphrodite," he said, smiling at me. "I hope it's okay if I come in."
I nodded, feeling a bit overwhelmed. "Yeah, of course. Come on in."
As he walked past me, I caught a whiff of his cologne. It was sweet and musky, and it made my head spin.
