While everyone was busy finishing their training for the day, Hun and Father Asher were busy practicing their halos.

"I never thought a day would come and I'll get to see a devil with divine halo" he chuckled. As for Hun, instead of being offended, his cheeks flushed feeling proud of himself, "I still wonder how I have such energy within me because as far as I know, devils and angels have their own energies, no one is able to control the others' for the sake of the world's balance and to avoid destruction"

"Hmm, interesting. I didn't know your world can be that complicated" Hun gave a weak chuckle and shook his head, "human's wars are way more merciful unlike ours... they're impactful if I may say" he turned to look at confused Asher and laughed at his funny expression, "simply put, if our wars were to occur here, this planet would be wiped from existence, as if it never existed in this universe."

"Whoa" he opened his eyes wide shocked yet excited.

"I see you made up?" Saintess Jane teleported in front of them. They bowed down before rising slowly, they looked at each other then smiled before turning back to the Saintess.

"You could say we're way better than we've ever been!" Hun clapped his hands.

"Glad to hear so" she smiled happily her eyes turned crescent shape, "the others are done with their practice, you can join them in the dining hall now" they nodded their heads and followed the Saintess to the hall.

After dinner, everyone walked to their rooms except for Hun and Father Asher, "these naughty kids" Archangel Raphael's First Wing sighed and shook his head, "bet there's a lot that will happen to the two of them!" Archangel Gabrial's First Wing said excitedly.

"I hope you mean that in a good way" Archangel Rahael's First Wing rose an eyebrow making the big woman to calm down and sit down next to him.

"Saintess? Is everything ok?" Archangel Gabrial's First Wing turned her attention to the worried woman. She remained silent not uttering a word studying the surroundings of the holy place alongside with the Earth Garden of Heaven. There was nothing wrong but deep inside, she knew something will happen, she can't tell how bad it is, but she knows it'll leave a negative impact on everyone and maybe the whole place.

Far from everyone and where they sat together to talk for the first time, Hun and Father Asher rushed to their private zone giggling like little children sneaking out of the house to mess around.

"What new stories you got to tell me?" Hun smiled widely and opened his arms; Father Asher opened his too and Hun jumped to his embrace before they fell on the sofa behind them, "hehehe"

"Hmm. Lemme tell you about the family I had in hell!"

"You had a family there?" Hun laughed and squeezed his cheeks, "devils and humans are similar when it comes to reproduction Father~" Father Asher's face flushed while his junior reacted to that information, "oh my~ what is the problem Father~? Do you need holy water~?"

Father Asher hid his face in Hun's neck and squeezed him tightly, "ah!" Hun gasped when he felt something rubbing beneath him, "naughty, naughty, Daddy~" Father Asher gasped and pushed Hun below pinning his hands above his head, "don't test me, Hun"

"Oh dear~ you should've seen that coming though? Because who is below you is a demon and a succubus at that~ seduction is our specialty!" Hun pulled his tongue out and his eyes glowed with lust making the young man above him react as he expected him to, "uh, uh~ be careful Father, don't become a sinner. Kissing me would mean you accept to sign a pact with me to be mine, forever~" hearing it, Father Asher didn't mind the idea, being around this endless dose of seductor isn't bad at all, letting it go would be the worst decision to be made.

After the two of them calmed down, Hun was about to start telling another tale when he was suddenly pushed through the window shattering it to pieces, he gasped for air while the grip around his neck grew stronger making him dizzy and unable to see who is doing this to him.

"Hun!!" Father Asher called through the shattered window.

"What happened?!" Priestess Jane and the Wings rushed their way when they heard something shattering, "Hun!!!" He pointed at the window that started to melt, "why is the window melting like that?" Archangel Gabriel's First Wing gasped in horror with sweat forming on her forehead and the other Wings too, "isn't that?"

Hun gasped for air, he focused his strength on a punch and threw it to whoever caught him face, the grip went loose enabling Hun to escape yet it struck him... "shit I can't fly" he mumbled before he started to fall down, when his vision became clearer and managed to see whoever caught him, "Archangel Michael?" His expression turned twisted, his mind became unclear again and his body became numb recalling a forgotten memory...

OVER MILLIONS OF YEARS AGO,

THE 1000 YEAR WAR,

In the silent battlefield, heavy breathes and groaning of dying demons and angels rose slowly. The sky was red and orange with shatters in different places, the ground was breaking slowly with every step taken by the medical support for the dying bodies. In the midst of all that calm chaos, a bloody blade shone while being pointed at a small and injured figure.

Hun rose his head to stare at the blade's owner, "Archangel... Michael?" The Archangel looked down at him with cold expression, he pulled the huge blade above his head before he shuns the barrier protecting Hun.

The sound of something breaking made him gasp, when he looked above, he saw half of his angelic ring being taken away by the Archangel, "wa- wait! What are you doing?! NO! Please don't, Archangel!" Hun fell on his face while blood still seeping from his injuries, as for the other half of the ring, it slowly faded inside him seeking protection.

"This is the punishment of a traitor" Hun opened his eyes and jumped away from the huge blade falling his way.

"If you won't come with me, I'll bring you by force, even if I have to kill you in the process" Archangel Michael said coldly.

"Archangel Michael!? Please don't let evil swallow you!" Priestess Jane called for him, but he ignored her focusing on getting Hun.

"What did I do?!" Archangel Michael stared at him, "you existed, that's what you did"

Hun felt his body goes numb as his insides burn for unknown reason.

'Fight'

'Don't let him kill you'

'Your body is precious'

'Show him what you are made of!'

'You mustn't let a pest like him get you'

'Kill. The. Archangel. And. Swallow. His. Core!!!"

Hun's eyes turned pure black, and his pure halo turned dark before his skin turned black gradually. His growing black nails went through his heart taking it out and squishing it, the blood from it went through the deep and long cut he created on his neck getting his voice broken yet loud.

"Stay... AWAY!!" He screamed with black tears flowing down his eyes, the impact of the scream pushed Archangel Michael a few inches back. He looked in shock at what just happened. Knowing things won't go smoothly anymore, he pulled back his huge blade from beside Hun and prepared to fight the demon with all available methods.

Hun started to cough black blood; each drop formed a minion with broken wings who rushed to attack the Archangel. Understanding what that was, Archangel Michael's hair turned black and his blue eyes turned black before he rose his blade then swung it toward the minions cutting them to shreds.

The demon gasped before more tears flooded from his eyes drowning the flowers under their feet. Father Asher looked at the black water below, he focused on it a bit but was shocked by what he found, "Saintess... Wings..." he called for them breathlessly alarming them from the dazed state they were in. They looked down and gasped in horror.

Deep inside the out-of-control demon, Hun was crying his eyes out. The darkness was familiar yet painful, the strange place he's in triggered a lot of memories he wanted to forget, but here they are, surrounding him, terrifying him, making him in worse state than before, especially the time he was in hell. He belonged yet didn't belong there. The devils there were family but not the family he looked for.

Scary...

Unfamiliar...

Lonely...

Incompetent...

Broken...

Forgotten...???

"You're not!!!" A voice broke the darkness slowly with light rays, Hun looked up and gazed as the rays killed the gloom surrounding him. Tears fell slowly as he pulled his hands up trying to catch the hand leaning to him.

In the middle of that recovery, the Hun out was fighting for life, as for Archangel Michael, all he needed was to swing his blade to keep the battle in control as to not harm anyone. He ordered Saintess Jane and The Wings to leave but the black tears were holding them still, as if it's begging for them to stay, to save him... to witness something.

Suddenly, Hun flinched and fell on his knees, Archangel Michael stared at him remained alarmed to anything that might happen.

FWOOOSH

As he expected, a strong blow of wind struck, but what he didn't anticipate was the wind lifting everyone and taking them somewhere far from Earth.

Everyone landed smoothly, as for the Archangel and Hun, the sound of their weapons clashing rose in the silent land, everyone looked around in horror knowing what this place is, "isn't this..." Archangel Gabriel's First Wing gulped, "it is..." Saintess Jane shut her eyes, "the battlefield of The 1000 Year War".

The sound of a weapon breaking made everyone flinch and turn to the fight's direction, the blade Hun was holding turned to pieces, so he ran to get himself another weapon from the battlefield while dodging the Archangel's attacks.

Hun found a big blade, as fast as could be, he rushed toward it and held it as a shield from the coming blow, the sound of the attack echoed and caused an impact, the ground beneath Hun broke down and a strong wind blew. "Augh" Hun tried his best to hold his ground before pulling the huge blade and swinging it toward the Archangel.

"Aaaaargh!!" Archangel Michael's blade reached first and stabbed Hun in the shoulder close to the hole where his heart was.

"HUUUUUN!!!!" Father Asher screamed his lungs out and ran toward Hun but was held back by The Wings, "Hun!!!? No! I need to save him!"

"You can't! The barrier created by Hun is protecting us." She turned to look at the crying mess Father Asher, "this isn't our fight Father Asher!" Saintess Jane said with her hands trembling, "we can't do anything. The force both of them creating isn't something any of us would handle. Before the blow even reaches you, you would become dust. That's the difference between us and them" Father Asher gulped and turned back to where Hun fell.

"Ugh" the same blade pointed at him millions of years ago is pointing at him now, he let go of a broken chuckle unable to believe how funny fate can sometimes be, "will it be my neck this time?" He said coldly not breaking eye contact with the Archangel.

"You remember?" He pulled his blade away and stabbed it on the ground in front of him, "How would I not after what you told me?" Archangel Michael remained quite waiting to hear more.

"When I was in hell, the Demon King would always call for me, every single time... while abusing me, he'd always tell me that my fault, my flaw, my mistake was existing. I never took his words for granted because I knew he only does that for the pleasure of mypain and tears, but... hearing that from you, it makes me question if all he had told me was the truth..." Archangel Michael clenched his fists while the others listened in horror, especially Father Asher.

Archangel Michael extended his hand out for Hun, the little devil was shocked, he looked up at the Archangel's face but there was no emotion to read. He wanted to hold that hand, but something was amiss, why would he lend him a hand unless there's something will happen? Something Hun won't like.

"Repent Hun, it's time for it. Your punishment is over." Tears flowed down Hun's cheeks, he reached his hand to the Archangel's, "Hun!" Father Asher made him wake up from his daze. Hun gasped and held back his hand, after milliseconds to recover he glared at the Archangel, "why now?" Hun whispered and his small and bloody body trembled like a scared wet kitty. Archangel Michael gritted his teeth and clenched his fists; he held out his blade and pointed it at Hun again.

"Archangel Uriel is in a terrible state because of you" everyone gasped, "the curse that was supposed to be in your heart moved to her!" He yelled making the ground and sky to shiver in fear. Hun kept looking at the Archangel in horror with the only thought in his mind is, 'because of me? Archangel Uriel is what? But how did that happen?'

Hun's mind flashed a recent memory that had the answer to all his questions, "that..." Hun put a hand over his mouth holding back a sob, "after I was kidnapped, I felt something was wrong because the heaviness I felt before was gone" he said frustrated by that fact. Archangel Michael though was going through millions of thoughts until he remembered what Archangel Raphael told him before coming to Earth,

"Such curse can't be rid of, so the best choice is to move it to someone else".

Archangel Michael's eyes turned wide, "that explains everything" he mumbled, "you" he looked at Hun with pity in his blue eyes, "they didn't kidnap you because of you but because of your curse"

"So instead of attacking you, the Archangels, directly" Saintess Jane completed half of the sentence. "Moving the curse to you and breaking you apart is the safest solution!" Archangel Gabriel's First Wing finished slamming her forehead with her palm shocked by the way the devils think.

"Sadly, it worked" Archangel Michael kept gazing at Hun watching as his gold eyes keep trembling, "I'm sorry, Hun. I thought ill of you. I- I am no better than those who treated you badly" he squatted in front of Hun and held out his hand to hold a black lock from Hun's long free black hair, "I hope you'll forgive me for all I have done. As for the time millions of years ago" he kissed the lock and stood up, then put his blade back to its sheath, "we'll investigate what actually happened and if a devil tried to frame you. If you're proven innocent, you'll be able to return to Heaven and to Uriel's side" he gave him a small warm smile before he flew away. The battlefield around them faded slowly returning them back to the Garden. Everyone sighed in relief that things went well, but...

"Hun!!" Father Asher held the fainted demon between his hands, "Saintess!!?" She rushed to his side and tried to heal Hun's wounds, but something was wrong, "why isn't he breathing?" Father Asher asked in horror.
