When Cain told the Forest Banes surfball team that Dominic would be replacing Xaun, they'd thought he was joking. But as Fiona and the dark elf approached them, their jaws dropped. All, including Mito, were stunned by the fact that Fiona had succeeded in her impossible quest, all except Cain. He'd been confident from the start that she would pull off getting Dominic Lacroft to participate in the match. Once the two reached the group, Cain stuck out his right hand, smiling like a child.
