Chapter 29 - Stand Up For Revenge!

As Pepkorn dashed through the planet, he thought about what he wanted to do. He decided that his first course of action would be to stop by and gorge himself on Earthly food. He eyed down a city and landed there, walking into a bakery. It smelled amazing. He saw lots of cakes, donuts, waffles - the good ones - freshly baked bread, muffins, pies, croissants, and so much more. It all looked beautifully appetizing, almost to the point where it was arousing. There were so many options, but he didn't know what to pick to eat.

"Oi! Are ya gonna keep on eyeing the Glorious Chocolate Truffle Cake, or are you gonna buy somethin', eh?" the staff member asked.

"Cease." Pepkorn put out a hand and fired a kiai at the staff member, sending them flying into the coffee maker and into the wall. They probably died from said kiai. After that quick little skirmish, Pepkorn grabbed one of the cakes being held up on its platter and set it down on a table. He removed the cover, and got a whiff of the delicious chocolate smell. Pulling out a single finger, he charged up a knife-sized ki blade and cut himself a slice, then stabbed said slice with his ki knife and stuffed it in his mouth, chewing and savoring the flavors. He gulped it down, and he squealed with delight. It wasn't even dinnertime yet, let alone noon for lunch, and he was already enjoying such an amazing dessert! "Ohhhhh...it feels so good to eat once again!" Pepkorn said, with joy. He then lifted the cake in the air, and with precision, diced it into dice-sized cubes. A cartoon-like eating sequence occurred, as he ate the cake cubes in a multitude of ways. Whether it was sliding them down his arm and into his mouth, chomping them down like he was Pac-Man, or sucking them into his mouth, chewing and swallowing like a vacuum, he quickly finished the chocolate cake.

Getting a tissue and wiping his arm, which had been dirtied by the chocolate, he wiped his mouth and his fingers, as he then smiled. "The desserts are amazing, but now I feel the need for something savory...something meaty. How about one of those pizza things?" Conveniently, there was a pizza place right on the next block. He teleported inside, which ended up placing him at the front of the line. Irritated, a lot of people started yelling at Pepkorn, but a quick Death Beam through all of their heads was enough to permanently subdue them. With that, he took the box of pepperoni pizza, and flew off. Chomping down on a slice, it was delicious. He had fallen in love with his new favorite food - pizza! The cheese was perfectly cooked and stretchy, the crust was crunchy and baked to perfection, and the pepperoni slices, ooh! They were cupped, thick, chewy (not as chewy as gum) and had small pools of that delicious oil inside. He devoured the whole thing, and when he was done with the pizza, rather than just ripping up the box, he tossed it into the air and fired a mouth beam at it, vaporizing the cardboard box.

Cutting away to the Grand Battlers, who were certainly not having the time of their lives like Pepkorn, Lemogras rose up and flew towards Baezel. "Dad. Dad! Dad, you've gotta wake up, man!" he shouted, nudging Baezel. He opened his eyes, and tried to get up, but felt a shooting pain in his knees and arms, as though he was shot in them. "Just try to fly for now." Baezel did as asked, and put two fingers onto his forehead, locating Karin's ki. He did so almost instantly, and teleported to the cat.

"Christ almighty, Baezel! Ya look terrible!" Karin said, shocked at the holes in Baezel's body.

"No shit, Whiskers the Wonder Cat. Do you happen to have a bag of Senzu? I need it," Baezel replied.

"I mean...I've been running low on bags, since you seem to hoard them..."

"What?"

"...but I've got a few more bags lying around. Pick one up, and I'll pour in as many beans as you guys need!" Baezel went on over and picked up an empty bag, and propped it open. Karin then opened a jar an poured in about ten beans, along with 3 extra just in case. "That should be enough for you fat fucks. Now, on your merry way!"

"Thanks, jerk," Baezel replied, as he placed a bean in his mouth and swallowed, fully healing himself. He even got a Zenkai! Clutching the bag in his hand, he teleported to his friends with the bag in hand. Opening it up, Parakress was first. Baezel took out a single Senzu, and crushed it in his hand. With 2 fingers, he sprinkled the mixture of chunks and Senzu dust into Parakress' mouth, hoping that he'd swallow. He held his neck from the back and slowly lifted his friend up, to make swallowing easier. Luckily, it went down and got swallowed, and Parakress blinked. His eyes no longer looked dead; in fact, he was fully healed. Pararkess got up, and grabbed a bean, hovering over to Draft. Plopping a bean into his mouth, he had to make Draft manually chew and swallow it. A little bit of time after he gulped, the injuries on Draft's body seemingly disappeared, and the cyborg got up.

"Damn that Pepkorn...how could he have gotten so powerful?!" Draft asked.

"You know what his ki feels like?" Baezel inquired, not sure how Draft could have ever sensed Pepkorn's ki.

"Temporarily, yes. Do you remember when we were in Hell, to go get Gangal? Along with Yami, Zendoria and Nori, I sensed a ki signature in there that felt comparable to yours. My guess is that it was Pepkorn who I sensed."

"I see. In any case, it's clear that Pepkorn is a threat once again. He needs to be dealt with before we end up as ashes in an urn." Throwing a bean to Lemogras, he caught it with his mouth and swallowed, getting fully healed. Really, he just took a hit to the nose. He wiped the blood coming out of it. Phoenix was still alive, but she was badly bruised, especially her face. Baezel threw a bean to her, and she caught and swallowed. Miraculously, her face fully healed, as did the wounds on her body. Throwing the last bean to Radichio, he grabbed it and dusted off the grass that he grabbed on accident, and ate the bean. Down there, he felt much better now. The team was fully healed, and were ready to prepare for Pepkorn's next attack. However, they weren't sure what they were supposed to do as their next order of business. Yes, training was absolutely necessary, but...how would they do so without Pepkorn anticipating them?

Lemogras cracked his knuckles, a determined glint in his eyes. "I'm glad we're all in good shape, but Pepkorn is way too strong for any of us to face alone, even if we teamed up. I have an idea, though. What if Dad and Radichio fused into Radizel again to take on Pepkorn?"

Radichio shook his head. "No, we can't rely on fusion too much. Baezel would be embarrassed if he couldn't defeat Pepkorn on his own."

Phoenix interjected, "I have a different idea, but it involves going off-world. Are you ready to hear it?"

Baezel, showing signs of exhaustion, replied, "At this point, I'm willing to consider any option that might give us an advantage."

"Let's just go train in that alternate dimension on the planet I mentioned a while ago," Phoenix brought up. "It's probably stronger than the one you guys are used to, and it could potentially be great for us. And as a way to make it even better...Draft, do you have the resources to make weighted armor for us?"

Draft chimed in, "I don't have the time for that, but I can ask God to provide it for us. I think those mecha suits in the basement still work, but I have yet to try them out..."

Phoenix looked surprised. "You have mecha suits, and didn't tell us?"

Draft shrugged, "Well, I only built them last year. I thought they'd be useless!"

Sighing, Baezel composed himself. "Look. We'll go visit God, and ask him to give us all armor to train with in capsules. Then we'll go to...wherever Phoenix said we'd go. Alright?" The gang nodded, as they all held onto Baezel's back. The Saiyan then locked onto God's ki and teleported to the temple, where God had a depressed look on his face. Standing up, God asked, "What do you guys want? Do you need access to the Room of Spirit and Time?"

"Not at the moment, no," Baezel answered, "but thank you for the offer. What we're here for is some weighted armor! Preferably in capsules, for ease of access."

"I believe I can do that," God told them. He clasped his hands together, and out popped a capsule case, which God handed to Baezel. "Good luck with whatever you're doing! And make sure to defeat Pepkorn!" Baezel gave a thumbs-up, as Phoenix put a barrier around them and slowly rose up. Almost immediately, they left the Solar System and were flying into space. The outside of the barrier looked like the stars and planets were rushing past them at immeasurable speeds. It was cool to everyone else, but Phoenix was prepared to get everyone to the planet she once trained on. Within about two minutes, they had arrived. The planet's sky was dark, and the ground filled with many craters, with a gray hue and a bluish tint. It was completely dead and desolate, with only a doorway on it.

"Hm. Looks exactly as I remember," Phoenix said, in a somewhat disappointed manner. However, something was...off. It wasn't just their own ki signatures on the planet. There seemed to be two or three more. They weren't entirely sure if they were malicious or not, but if they were, they were more than willing to fight. However, this ki felt familiar to the Saiyans. As though it was one of their own. "Hold on...let me handle this," Baezel said, preparing to fight. He went into Super Saiyan, and charged his ki as an attempt to draw out whoever was there. As he charged up, a green ki sphere suddenly flew out from what seemed to be nowhere. Catching him off guard, he caught it with his bare hands, kicking it into the sky. But it seemed like it had weight to it, since it came back down and forced Baezel to hold it and funnel his own ki into it, siphoning out the ki of his attacker. He then dissipated the ki sphere, shouting out, "That's enough! Show yourself ASAP!"

"Fine by me," the disembodied voice said. A brooding Saiyan figure burst dashed towards them, his aura a green color. Another Saiyan, who had dark skin as well, was beside him. The one on the left had pitch black hair and brown skin, with long, wild hair. He had bangs at the front of his head, with one large one in the front of his hair. He wore a black bodysuit and white wristbands, with a white dress similar to Broly's. He had his tail intact, and wore the standard Freeza Force boots. The one on the right had brown skin as well, but unlike his brother, he had a fade and wore a green earring. He wore a dark blue bodysuit with white gloves and white Saiyan armor, with a yellow chest and yellow straps. He also had white boots. "Uh, h - hey..." she muttered. She wasn't too familiar with black people, but she made an attempt to be friendly. The two Saiyans merely ignored her gesture.

Surveying the group, the one with spiky hair spoke up. "Looks like the majority of you guys are Saiyans, eh...ha ha! Just like us! How'd you folks get this far out in the middle of nowhere?"

"I - it's a long story, I'm sure you don't need to hear it," Baezel assured them.

"Oh, no, no, no, I insist," the Saiyan replied. "Yeah, tell us your story, bro," the other one chimed in.

And so, Baezel explained their entire story. He started from the very beginning, explaining who everyone is and how they got there. He explained their adventures on Earth, including their shenanigans with the Centurion Army's bullshit, the Tenkaichi Budokai, what the Dragon Balls are and how to find them, all of the Super Saiyan forms, Baezel Yami and Zendoria, Phoenix, Pepkorn, and why they had to head to this planet, which was a random planet in some random part of the galaxy that no one visits. Once he was done, and the others were done introducing themselves, Taro shouted out in shock.

"So you're tellin' me, that NOT ONLY are you guys Super Saiyans, found three forms beyond it, killed an immortal, and are Super Saiyan Gods as well?!" Taro said, bewildered.

"That's right! And we'd show you our strength, but we're still on the run from Pepko - "

"Pepkorn, yeah," Jimaka replied.

"Mm-hmm. In fact, we need all the help we can get if we wanna take him down for good. Which is why we're gonna train in that dimension right o'er there," Phoenix explained, pointing to the doorway. "Do you want to join us?"

"Well, that Pepkorn guy sounds like a real fuckin' douchebag, if he's terrorizing you like that. We'll join you," Jimaka said, "and we'll fight right alongside you!" She and Jimaka fist bumped and did a little secret handshake, as they then opened the door to a dimension that was familiar, and yet, at the same time, somewhat foreign. A dimension that would hopefully be Pepkorn's one-way-ticket right back to Hell, where he belonged.
