Yui and Hotsuya were walking together, Hotsuya was humming softly a song while Yui was just... well walking.
Hotsuya looked around with an optimistic expression on her face while something caught Yui's eyes. A vending machine, he immediately approached it which made Hotsuya look at him with a confused face.
Yui pulled out a bill and inserted it into the vending machine. And then pressed a button on where the black coffee was. Hotsuya's head tilted a bit. After a few seconds of waiting the vending machine dropped out the can of black coffee creating a metallic thud noise.
He opened the small door that a vending machine had and took the coffee, before staring at it. "This brand is..." Hotsuya looked at Yui's face with concern.
"What's wrong?" Hotsuya asked before Yui shook his head, opening the can of coffee.
"Nothing." He took a sip of the can before looking at the city lights once more. "It's getting colder each day huh? Maybe snow will come."
"I'm sure it will, say, I wonder what would happen if bits of snow landed on your head, would you be able to notice it?" Hotsuya said a very weird question which made Yui stare at her blankly. He made a sigh.
"No I won't." Yui said before taking a sip from the can. She stared at his pose before smiling.
"You really look mature." Hotsuya said before waddling slowly closer to Yui's side looking at his arms, she had the urge to grab it before her face flushed. She looked away with a red face before Yui looked at her with a confused face.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing..." Hotsuya said, although her tone wasn't convincing. Yui raised his eyebrow, before poking Hotsuya, catching her attention. She turned her head around to look at Yui finally removing her flushed face.
"Were you cold? You can hold my hand if you want."
"N-No! I'm fine!" She stuttered a bit after hearing those words, her face flushing once more. Yui looked at her with a much more confused face.
"Alright... I guess." Yui had his doubts but he suddenly just left it alone then.
Hotsuya looked at his hand once more before turning away so suddenly. But then she looked at it once again, while to Yui this went unnoticed.
She slowly trudged her hand towards Yui's hands and simply held it, this made Yui widen his eyes, he looked at his hand before looking at Hotsuya who was now looking away. Yui made a small gentle smile as he held her soft hands.
Hotsuya mind suddenly was rambling with extreme confusion. Why in the world did she do that!? Although, a part of her didn't mind, his hand was soft and warm. She didn't mind if they walked together like this.
Still looking away with a flushed face... While Yui well... was walking.
