Yui walked out of his house with a smile on his face. His skating boots on his bag while he walked quickly towards the nearest mall. Today, Himaki invited him out which got him curious.
While walking on the city, the people chattering while him having a small smile on his face. And then his vision caught a familiar figure, Himaki standing there with a malicious smile while looking at her phone making a baleful giggle.
Before she turned around, her usual stoic and expressionless smile returned. "Oh... Hey Yui."
"Hey, Himaki."
"Let's go to our usual spot, there's a thing that I wanted to... talk to you about." For a second there, Yui could see her eyes flash a malicious glint of light before it returned to normal. She turned her back around started to walk while Yui trailed behind slowly.
While the both of them are walking, they both arrived at their usual spot. While Yui was staring at Himaki's eyes. Suddenly her eyes turned into sick and crazy face. Her usual expressionless face was gone.
"It's over."
Yui's eyes widened, with bitter shock he tried to say something but no words came out, he was frozen in fear. He trusted her the most, so why? After a few seconds.
"This relationship to me was fake." She started to laugh while making crazy eyes. "I only used you, you see, thanks for being a good entertainment for me, loser." Yui couldn't speak, his eyes only looked at the ground while Himaki walked past him.
Yui's eyes started to moist. His eyes still widened, sweat came out from his face while he felt thousands of emotions swirl inside him, anger, sadness, and most of all regret.
Regret...
Yui sat down on a random bench and still looked at the floor. He didn't move an inch, his whole life with her flashing before his eyes before it ended abruptly here. Yui suddenly got up, while still looking at the floor.
While he was walking around he watched the people on the ice skating rink, either beginners or people who are proficient on it. Although his face was... expressionless.
He bought the ticket for the ice skating rink, he just had some time on his hands left. The odd feeling on his heart started to grow stronger, but his face still kept on the blank face it was.
He sat on the bench holding both of his hands in a praying motion while looking at the ground, and in that day he was so used to look at the ground, so used to hear the chatters of people.
While entering the ice rink he immediately started to skate, propelling himself forward by pushing back his feet and immediately going fast. His face that held no emotions may be graceful, but his small smile when he skated was now gone.
1 year of being with her, all down in a drain, quite amazing. Yui looked at the sides of the ice skating rink only to see her not there. The ice's lesser friction made him move despite staying still...
The other people who were smiling all around him, while only he was down here, he felt so alienated.
And the next was absolute devastation.
