Hotsuya was no stranger to the dark. After staying around in her house, her mind thinking about literally nothing, she decided to take a walk.
While looking around the dark street, the streets were still wet and her face was looking at the skyscrapers that were barely visible looking at where she is looking at. It was silent in here. Felt so lonely.
She was no stranger to loneliness though, she always felt like she was dejected from reality. She has good grades, good looks and... what's next? Nothing right? All of her 'friends' were just people who didn't truly care about her, but just decided to befriend her so that they could also have attention.
But nothing truly felt right about that type of friendship, she looked at the moon, shining bright underneath her figure. She always felt like the spotlight was always pointing at her, and people's vicious eyes stared at her.
With mixed feelings all she can do is try to be perfect, so her life won't be ruined. She was a slave to the people's opinions. After all, the society is such a powerful community, because it can ruin one's life with only... words.
Words are stronger than anybody thinks. She already saw how it ruined someone's life. And she promised to herself that it won't happen to herself. Because she wanted to be just as strong as that someone who got their life ruined.
It's always better to keep on acting like other people. Keeping on a mask, showing nothing but fake feelings and devoid of emotion and walk to the same trends as people do. So that you won't be in the spotlight. So that you'll finally be normal.
But then suddenly a figure emerged from the dark on where she walked. Her feet stopped, she froze looking at the boy... they locked eyes...
Time didn't stop, no rather they stopped. But then those moments didn't last, they quickly averted their gazes away while crossing paths with each other.
But to Hotsuya. No she didn't want him to leave just like that, just for now, she wanted to keep the li that she used as a mask to turn it into the truth. She wanted to be with someone... so to her...
She didn't want to let go of this moment right now. She had the urge to quickly turn around and stop him in his tracks... And before she knew it, she turned around while holding out a hand also looking at the boy who was staring at her eyes also.
"Wai-!" They both said in the exact same tone, the exact same words, and the exact same time. Their voices suddenly dried out, but they Hotsuya knew one thing.
His amethyst eyes continued to play with her heart...
"Who... are you?" Her mouth opened involuntarily. She broke the ice, the boy opened his mouth while looking at her golden eyes.
"Yui... how about you?" Yui? What a beautiful name, the girl could only think. Her face softened up.
"Hotsuya..." To her, the warm feeling on her heart was slowly making her heart rise up, the cold atmosphere didn't matter anywhere. Her cheeks felt heat, before she smiled. To her surprise she also saw the boy making a soft smile.
