I realised over the last few weeks, that monsters really want to kill me. Like I can't go two fucken days without being attacked. On the bright side Lancer's skills have really become mine at this point. It has been 6 months since that damn cyclops.
I finally found out the year on my adventures through Dublin, at the moment it was November 2004. That means I have until may to get to America before the Lightning thief plot begins.
I have been going by Jack to those I've spoke to and have decided on what my name should be, as even though I have his abilities I wasn't going to tak Lancer's name. Jack Night was the name I eventually ended up on and it has grown on me.
Traveling has also been very beneficial in practicing my runecraft, I can even make a safe place to sleep as even with the knowledge I kept putting it off until I used a rune to burn a hellhound that snuck up on me.
Now I'm on a boat over to England, I'm going to be traveling through Liverpool to the John Lennon airport and from there I'll use magic to get a ticket to new York. Recently, some of Lancer's habits have sunk in and I have been drinking more often as well as occasionally wanting to fish,haven't went yet, and I haven't just been lazing about I also saved some children and teens from random monsters.
While reminiscing, speak of the devil and they shall appear as I noticed something unusual. Standing around 5ft and looking at me, she was surrounded by a mirage I was unable to tell her features but as I listened I could hear hissing.
As this was happening I decided that I will try to have a conversation with her. Nothing bad could happen from attempting to talk so I started to approach her.
"Hello, my name's Jack and I couldn't help but notice you were staring at me and wanted to as if you were alright?" I asked. To my surprise she responded.
"oh, nothing much I just thought you look like someone I used to Know but he died quite a while ago." She replied.
Now that I was closer I came to the realisation that she wasn't a monster as I could usually sense such things but there was a different quality to it something ethereal.
"Wow that's surprising l, I've never seen anyone look quite like me the whole time I've been here, I am sorry for your loss."I said wondering what she could be.
"Thank you, but it has been Along time he was one of my students but I'm sure you don't want to speak about and I should be going," She dismissed herself but as she was leaving she said something that left me shocked to the core.
" I do hope you have a better life child of light."
Then she was gone. Like she was never there. As I was coming out my shock the captain announced that we had arrived at Liverpool and I got up to leave. I wonder what types of stuff can be found here?
